Golfer Reviews
Mulberm
Great country course that plays well and is priced beautifully.
Country feel.
For the price you can’t beat it. Plays harder than it looks. Very relaxed atmosphere.
Great condition
Course was in great condition though a bit short beautiful scenery. Only down side was a group of 2 in front of me as a single player taking forever and not offering to let me play through
7/10
The course was in immaculate condition. It offers a beautiful scenery incorporating a true Links style layout. Lots of challenging tee shots, elevated boxes and greens, and difficult pin placement. My only complaint was the clubhouse. The place smells like a litter box. Went in for a hot dog at the turn and could barely stay in there for 5 minutes.
Overall a great course, especially for the price. Just make sure you have one of your partners check you in and also grab your goods at the turn for you. I'm not kidding. It smells like death in there.
Great Value
Really enjoyed the layout at Mulberry Hills. Tight fairways and fast greens . Nice signature holes. I will reccomend this course to my friends
Eagle
me and my friend play this course quite often good course layout with challenging greens. Quite a few muffin top greens if you don't stay on top of them your ball rolls right off. having said that I recorded my first eagle today
Meh
Must be a heavy golf league play course, due to greens being riddled with unrepaired divots.
Fair at best
I have played this course many times and sometimes wonder why I go back. The biggest issue? The stench of cat urine in the building! Overwhelming to say the least. Would someone actually eat food prepared in there? Secondly, the course has something strange going on this year. All of the fairways are “rippled”? Like a washboard. I’ve never seen this before but it’s not good. Very rough riding in the cart. I would choose another course if I were you.
Great little course for the price
I have played this course a few times and at the GOlf Now price I think it is well worth it. $26 each, two players W/Cart. I am not a very discerning golfer, really better at drinking beer on grass than the game itself, but had a great round with a friend of similar abilities. I would say that adding divot sand/seed on the carts would help with the divot condition on the fairways. Greens were challenging and it seems the general player out that way is not terribly concerned with fixing green divots either. Heck I am proud when I need to fix one. The driving range, Meh... hitting off old mat's that leave a nice coating of green plastic on the heels of your clubs. The only other feedback I would give is please, turn down or remove whatever gawd awful air freshener flowery scent stinking whatever you have in your proshop. Yowsa, overwhelming.
Fine place to wack it around
The round was fine and moved pretty well. As a twosome we were held up a little but pace of play was good. The greens needed work. That was the biggest problem with the course otherwise it was in good shape. Not many amenities but a good place with the GolfNow discount to play in northern Oakland County.
Good for the money
The greens played a lot better than in years past. The rough and tee boxes could use some work. Overall, great course for the money.
Awful, just awful
This course is absolutely awful, the clubhouse smells like cat pee and the workers are rude. The greens on the back 9 are domed, and you cannot hold them whatsoever. All of the greens were in horrible condition, torn up beyond belief and littered with debris. I played the back tees, and there were about 5 holes where there were NO back tee markers. Better yet, the tees were uneven, and looked like nobody bothered to take care of them. The holes have no variation, they are all straight and boring. There are a lot of golf courses in the area, do NOT waste your time with this course, it is absolutely terrible.
Mulberrys Hills
Very nice course to play. The course was in very good shape. Nice layout challenging greens. lots of slopes in muffin tops
