Needs work
I hadn’t played the course in a few years. New management is making some changes which I don’t especially like. The 5th hole has a new tee box for middle tee shots which makes it about 40 yards closer. Also the 10th tee box has been moved closer making it a 205 yard par 4. I liked it better from the 253 yard tee box . The course was in decent shape, but the scorecard yardages were the same for the white(middle) and red(front) tee boxes. Quite an error if you don’t own a rangefinder! Also on the 7th hole there is some kind of huge rusted metal contraption that can come into play off the left side fairway if you hit an errant second or third shot. I must say it is a challenging course and tight fairways. The putting will test your skills. Keep it below the flagsticks!!

Tough greens and lots of trouble off the green side.
Went on a Sunday afternoon and it was booked up! Slow play with 9 holes taking 3.5 hours. Back nine was better because a lot of players only went 9. Enjoyed it.

Amazing Cart Personnel, and Clubhouse Attendant
Place is tight, hard to not find an occasional tree. Navigating the piles of tree limbs is also a pain.
However, I was Overwhelmed with great beverage service!! Very friendly and attentive staff!!
Did I mention the beverages? This place is fine if you need to find a tee time when its cold or there is nothing else available.

Even though I paid for 18, I left after 4 holes took me over an hour and fifteen minutes. Nice course (of what I saw). Overbooked I suppose.

Mixed feelings
Great course but management is a joke. It’s clear the workers have received zero training. They’re sending people off the back in front of people making the turn and slowing play way down. Won’t look you in the eye, slow, lack of friendliness. Whoever the manager of the course is has clearly done zero training of staff and it wrecks an otherwise great experience.

Was bad before, worse now
Last time we played this course was about 10 years ago. It's a frustrating place to play as the course is basically cut through a forest. Tree's line every fairway and there is no room for error. We needed a place to play last Friday and we called around, this was the only place that could get us out so we bit the bullet and played here. Big mistake. course is in worse condition now than it was 10 years ago. The tee boxes haven't been cut in who knows how long, the course plays insanely slow. I thought new ownership took over this place. The only change we can see that was made was moving the #10 tee box over so it basically plays as a par 3 now. This course needs soooo much work it's unbelievable. Tee boxes and greens need to be maintained much better, they need to reduce the tree's on this course by about 70% and open this course up more. Some of slopes on the greens are ridiculous, this isn't the Masters, heck it's not even a good course, why are a lot of the greens like putting on the side of a hill?!! And stop booking tee times every 6 minutes, with all the tree's on this course it's going to play super slow cause there is no room for error so people are constantly searching for balls. I know it will cost a ton of money to renovate this course but it needs some serious TLC. The main thing is cutting down tree's. This will open the course up and speed up the pace of play. Then maintain the course. Keep the fairways, tee boxes, and greens in good condition. People shouldn't be paying money to play on a course where the tee boxes and parts of the fairways look like someone's backyard. This is a golf course, treat it like one. Won't be coming back. For a little more money there are courses that can be played not fair from this one that are well operated and maintained. Don't waste your time and more importantly your money. Not worth it.

Slow pace of play
Tee time was at 9:54 which we arrived for with plenty of time but they put a group of 4 elderly women in front of us (dou) which were supposed to go off at 10:05 which moved us back to 10:12. We were just playing 9 holes and it took 3 hours and 15 minutes. The pace of play was so slow it was ridiculous. Won’t be going back for awhile. It’s a nice course but pace of play and scheduling of tee times was bad.
