Late Season at Hilltop
My brother and I really enjoyed this challenging coarse. From elevated tee boxes overlooking tight fairways to battling uphill to a green that is atop a 20-30 foot hill. Yes, the uneven greens are tricky, but for us this really added to the fun, especially when we nailed them.

Great fall conditions
Used golf now deal for $18. Course was in great shape, not over-booked, staff was friendly and attentive.

Great Overall Course
First and foremost, the staff was phenomenal. The course is exactly what you need. Tee boxes could be better but for the most part a great overall course for any level of players.

Big holes on the path to the entrance
The entrance has so many holes. You could damage your car.

Falling Leaves
Difficult to find your ball unless it is in the fairway. The leaves in the rough are getting pretty thick.

Very Fast Greens
Greens were almost too fast. If you were above the hole there was no stopping a putt from rolling off the front, kind of ridiculous for a public course and it definitely slows down play. Tee boxes were horrible but the fairways and greens were in great shape.

Great course
Only knock is its a little bit of a shooting gallery not horrible but there can be incoming shots fairly easily

Cool course layout, poor maintenance
The layout is great and a tough course for the price. Not that well maintained and had some hole placements on the greens that were ridiculous (placed on major sloping points). Overall I would play again.

Needs work
I hadn’t played the course in a few years. New management is making some changes which I don’t especially like. The 5th hole has a new tee box for middle tee shots which makes it about 40 yards closer. Also the 10th tee box has been moved closer making it a 205 yard par 4. I liked it better from the 253 yard tee box . The course was in decent shape, but the scorecard yardages were the same for the white(middle) and red(front) tee boxes. Quite an error if you don’t own a rangefinder! Also on the 7th hole there is some kind of huge rusted metal contraption that can come into play off the left side fairway if you hit an errant second or third shot. I must say it is a challenging course and tight fairways. The putting will test your skills. Keep it below the flagsticks!!

Tough greens and lots of trouble off the green side.
Went on a Sunday afternoon and it was booked up! Slow play with 9 holes taking 3.5 hours. Back nine was better because a lot of players only went 9. Enjoyed it.

Amazing Cart Personnel, and Clubhouse Attendant
Place is tight, hard to not find an occasional tree. Navigating the piles of tree limbs is also a pain.
However, I was Overwhelmed with great beverage service!! Very friendly and attentive staff!!
Did I mention the beverages? This place is fine if you need to find a tee time when its cold or there is nothing else available.
