About
Lake Erie Metropark in Brownstown sits along the shoreline of its namesake lake. The location is a popular bird-watching spot with more than 300 species recorded. Golfers might catch a glimpse of a bald eagle and broad-wing hawk sightings are almost definite since the area is one of the best hawk-watching sites in North America. The golf course sprawls across gently rolling terrain and is routed through natural wetlands and forests. Towering trees line the fairways and water comes into play on a few holes. There are also strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides. The golf course is a manageable 6,472 yards from the back tees. Lake Erie Metropark's challenges are mild enough for high handicappers but there are still some interesting holes that will keep the avid golfer entertained.

Lake Erie Metro Golf
A little wet in spots but still the course was in great shape. The greens were very nice for this time of year.
Refund
I paid for 4 golfers through gold now but only 3 could play. I didn't get a refund for the 4th person? If that's the gold now policy, everyone would be better off booking through the course because they will not charge you for individuals that can't play.
Lake Erie
The course was in great shape for October in Michigan. The greens were fast, firm, and rolled very true! Really enjoyed the round and played 18 holes in less than 3 hours!
Golf at Lake Erie
This is a tricky test from the tips. Some tight driving holes, but overall a fun test.

This was the first time I played this course this year. It’s always been kept in great shape. It has geese but which course near the water doesn’t have geese.
Good Sunday round
Course was in good shape for time of year. Price for round was nothing short of awesome.
Course in great shape
Played on Sunday and was very happy with round. Okay was kind of slow but was really hot. Course was in good shape except never seen so many ball marks on greens not being repaired. Come on people!!!! Golfers are the problem not the course. Pick up your empties too.
Buy some weed killer and fertilizer!
More weeds than there is grass . The Geese have overtaken the place .
This course a few years ago was excellent. It was a shame to see it in the condition it is.

Besides the friendly staff, this course was in terrific condition. Deer running across the fairways added to the fantastic experience we had. Definitely will return!!'
