2nd, par-3, 203 yards. The longest and most difficult par-3 on the course. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/25/2022

You’ll need a solidly struck iron to find the fourth green in regulation. Par-3, 152. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/25/2022

The par-4 fifth, which plays uphill at 303 yards, is as tough as nails for a short hole. Fives and sixes are likely far more common here than scores of three. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/25/2022

The sixth may not be a long hole, but it is the #5 index. The views are compensation, though, for any woes you may experience. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/25/2022

Loudon’s fourteenth is a drive and pitch hole of 386, where most golfers will choose to lay up before the large pond. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/25/2022

Great Course
Course in excellent condition, nice layout. Overall would recommend the Loudon Club.
Great course
Arrived early and was sent out on my own. Caught up w nice gentlemen and enjoyed a great day Pace of play average.
Always A Solid Round
Greens are in great shape and pace of play is good (and folks let you play through if they’re playing a bit slower). Bunkers and cart paths could use some serious TLC but everything else is well kept.
Nice course
Challenging yet my favorite part is there are not a lot of sand traps! The view from some of the holes is breathtaking especially during fall foliage. Love playing here!
It Has A Burial Ground
Made the turn the first time I played here years ago and much to my surprise to the left of the 10th green I saw the burial plot of several people, long dead. It was an interesting touch to a good place to play. Lots of ups and downs on this one. Keep the ball in the fairways. The greens have subtle turns as the ball gets to the hole. Great place to play.
Who’s this course for?
Small, hard greens, very difficult to keep the ball on the greens. Rough was very deep at lest 4 inches on most of the course - hard to find balls, nearly impossible to hit out of, particularly around the greens. I will not play this course again
Bring the wedges
No bump and runs at Loudon. Played three rounds in four days, course is in excellent condition. Couple bread loaf tee boxes but fairways, rough and greens are perfect. The greens, very small and firm, very few ball marks and your wedge is the only way on, like turtle shells. Cups seemed crowned too, lots of 3 putts. As difficult as they come, narrow fairways except the par 5’s, grip and rip. Bring the A game.

Loudon Course Review
The grass off the fairway was very long and almost unplayable. Had to punch into the fairway to have a chance. Course staff was very friendly but the course needs some work. Cut the grass!! Especially because it is so wet.
We appreciate you taking the time to review the course and rate us. We are going to pass on your feedback to the team. Thanks for visiting Loudon Country Club, and we hope to see you again in the future.
Enjoyable course, bring short game
Loudon features mostly crowned greens, which makes the course a bit tougher than it seems from the tee, especially if you don't often play on greens that fall off from the center. You'll need to be sharp with your chips and pitches and leave yourself with short-iron approaches.
Holes are roomy with plenty of rough along the wide fairways, though the back nine has dense tree lines on most holes. Lots of tree lines marked as lateral hazards on the back.
A few holes feature water carries, including one short par-4 with a pond in front.
Very quick 3-hour pace on a nice Tuesday morning with only a few groups out on the course. Staff was friendly, and the post-round drink in the restaurant went down smooth. Would play again.
Hello, thank you for leaving us a review. We are sorry to hear your experience was anything short of 5 stars, but we hope you will give us another try in the future. Thank you for choosing Loudon Country Club.
