good value for the $, not an easy course, challenging greens
Mh
Great course to play. It's little slow, but staff, course and price are worth it.
Great course for the price
Good shape, good pace, challenging yet playable, greens are in great shape, staff was friendly and helpful.
Front 9 in good shape.
Have mostly played front 9 only which is in good shape. Lots of marsh hazards so bring extra balls if you don't hit it straight. Back deck for a beer after a round is very nice.
Perfect
This course is a long course it has hard holes and it has real hard holes . It is Challenge My best around there was a 80 for over 6000 I would recommend this course to anyone that wants to play a nice friendly course I can't say enough about the staff the always real nice friendly and courteous
A great challenge!
This was my first visit to this course, so learning where various hazards were located was a difficulty that would be easier with more experience.
The day we played there, followed several days of rain, and there was a lot of standing water, which complicated the intrinsic challenges.
Having said that, I would love to play this course again. The layout, condition of the greens and fairways, amenities and staff were all excellent.
Ridgewood
Nice course but the 11th hole which is normally a par 5 was under construction and was playing as a par 3.
Mountain views and a green course that is fun to play
Wonderful course to hone your skills while enjoying the mountain views. I play this course at least once a week in the summer and throughout the fall.
Great course, great prices
While parts of the course were a bit soft, it's no worse than any other course in the northeast in April.
This course is short, but challenging. Hazards everywhere. Sometimes you'll hit a 7 iron off the tee and a 6 iron on your second shot. Really interesting course.
Staff is awesome, nice folks.
One of my favorite courses
One of the best courses I've played at! Forgiving but makes you think about your shot with numerous hazards that are sometimes hidden. Highly recommend this course!
One of the best golf course values and an incredible staff
Our group always comes up to Ridgewood for atleast one round every fathers day weekend (12-16 guys) and the staff are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. The course is always in great shape and at such an awesome value with breathe taking views of the mountains as well. It has never disappointed and we have been coming for many years. Its a must play when in the area.
Day with Son In Law
I had the opportunity to play with my son-in-law in October. Though I had played the blue tees in the past we decided to play from the white. The course is defined with ample yardage markers. I also appreciated the tee box hazard distance markers. The greens were quick yet received approach shots well. Pro shop and lounge staff were friendly and accommodating. Will be back again.
Very challenging course
I had read reviews on this course and decided to try it. It was great. We played from the blue markers, but it soon became apparent that we should have played from the whites. There are a lot of places that you have to carry over ponds, marshes, etc, that we struggled with. The white is about 700 yards closer overall and would've made a considerable difference. The course was in terrific shape, everyone was friendly and the 19th hole was very nice. I will definetly return.
Ridgewood Golf Course
Course is in good condition and greens are in good shape as well...need to ranger the course better as there was a backup of 3 groups on #10 due to slow group stopping for food at the turn...this is the only negative I have regarding this course...need a ranger when it is busy
Always a treat
My friend and I golf 1-2 times a week. We have played 14 different courses this year and Ridgewood is the only course we have played 3 times. It is just great golf, friendly staff, and scenic views.

Great course with views
Played 18 holes in 3 and a half hours. Course was challenging with water hazards on most drives. Pace of play was great. Views of mountains outstanding. Will play again
We're glad to hear you had a great experience and we can't wait to have you back again! Thank you for your review!
