Great greens, extremely playable from the white tees. Worth the drive from MA.
Disappointing
We only played 9 holes due to the exceedingly slow pace of play. We went into the pro shop and requested a 9 hole credit and were told that they couldn’t provide a credit because we booked on Golf Now. It is disappointing!!!
Still Great
Have not played here in a few years but the course is still in A+ shape. Friendly staff, pristine conditions, and a sub-4 hour round made for a very good round on a chilly November day. Most holes have wide fairways so bomb away. Greens are large and slick. Since the course is wide open, you get very few leaves on the grounds. I highly recommend CSH and will be back.
Nice Course - Very Forgiving
Nice course. Very wide open and forgiving, but enough water hazards, bunkers, hills, etc. to make it challenging. Great course for beginners. I enjoyed this course and will definitely play again. The clubhouse decor could use an update/upgrade but has everyting you need. We didn't try the food but the menu looked good and the food and drink prices were very reasonable.
Really Fun Round
My wife and I had a great round this past weekend. We got to play with a member which helped with understanding the course better. The big issue here is the blind tee shots make it very challenging to know where people are if you've never played the course and you're walking. Staff was friendly and pace of play was perfect. Overall a great day.
Gem of course within 45 minutes of Boston
This course is in immaculate condition. Fairways very good, green and healthy looking. The greens were unbelievable fast. Everything was well manicured and looked great. I believe the rain this season had something to do with it, though you can see they really put the effort in. All workers there were great and you can tell they love their jobs. Congrats to the owner! Also, the practice area across the street is another gem. Driving range, short game, sand...really wonderful. Tx
Good course always in great shape
I play here a fair amount and the course conditions never disappoint. Pretty forgiving layout for high handicappers but challenging enough for good golfers too. Highly recommended!
