About
Ron Jaworski's Valleybrook Golf Club is one of South Jersey's most popular public courses. It's a local favorite not only because of the affordable rates but also for the challenging design. The diverse terrain provides the classic layout with a mix of flat and hilly holes. On some holes you can expect elevation changes from tee to green. It's a golf course that will keep you on your toes. It will test your accuracy with its narrow, tree-lined fairways and the elevation changes throughout the course make proper club selection essential. Water hazards also appear on nine occasions. The course has appeal for players of all skill levels. It's player-friendly enough for beginners while advanced players will enjoy the many risk-reward opportunities. There is also a driving range available at Valleybrook Golf Club.

nice course
greens fairways real good shape for late november nothing much course can do but lost 3-4 balls because of leaves right off fairways
valleybrook golf
great place to play the course was in great shape bad thing was the slow play there at times there were three and fore cart back ups at the tee box this should not happen on a Tuesday it was not that busy
Valleybrook Golf Course
This course played very fair to me. I enjoyed the layout since it was designed by Ron Jaworski himself with the two of his courses I have been to so far are outstanding! The only problem for me personally it was very hilly but other then that the layout was outstanding. Very good course!
Never again on a Saturday!
I golf at this course occasionally and enjoy it but this past weekend we got a great deal with a tee off at 12:48. We walked up ten minutes early to find two carts sitting on the first hole waiting AND three sets ahead of us waiting for a cart. There weren't any left! I've never seen this before anywhere. We finally did tee off.....at 1:25. It was just the two of us but we did have to wait at every hole and just about every shot because it was so backed up. We returned at 5:30 after only finishing 15 holes. 4 hours for 2 people is just ridiculous. I'm glad I got a deal but feel sorry for everyone else there that didn't.
Excellent Value
We (3) started at 2pm and finished at 5:45pm. The course was in good condition but the greens were a little nappy. The 2 green side bunkers I entered would do to be filtered a bit and topped with a fresh layer of sand. This was an exceptional value based upon the steeply discounted rate, course condition and great staff.
Slow
No rangers to keep lookout for really really slow pace. To many foursomes playing numerous balls without being told not to.
Nice
Course is well maintained and staff is very friendly. Only downside was some of the tee boxes were a little beat up. Course is fun and challenging. Some fairways are tight. Great course
Popular course worth playing on special
VB can sometimes be crowded and the pace get bogged down, but the golf course will not disappoint. I was paired up with another individual on a GolfNow special and we enjoyed the round.
A Novelty
Too many high hills and deep valleys, crazy layout but a had to be given the terrain.
Good greens, cart girl MIA
The course was in great condition and the putting greens were perfect. The cart girl was missing in action until the 15th hole. She was out of hotdogs and we didn't see her again until the end of the 17th.
Nice Course for the price
The layout keeps you interested, especially for playing partner, a newcomer. The greens were especially slow probably due to a morning rain.
Average
A little over priced for the condition. Mainly bare spots in fairways. Greens were in good shape.
Good course for a great price
It's a great corse for a good price. I play it all of the time and recommend it
Too much play
This is definitely an outing course. You can see it's overplayed. Fairways were average and greens bumpy and long. Played behind a tournament and golf balls coming at you all over the place. Overall just an ok place to play.
One of my favorite courses
Valleybrook is one of my favorite courses in south Jersey. It is a great course for every skill level. They have 3 tee boxes to choose from. The course is maintained daily. The only issue I found playing this course was that there was a bit of a back up at the first tee. I teed off about 20 minutes past my tee time. Also the greens ran a bit slow and the fairway were patchy in so areas. Other than that the course plays great, isn't over expensive , and is a fun round eveytime.
Nice course, poor management
I have always liked Valleybrook, my high school team played there, however I was very disappointed with my round. The course looked fine, though the back 9 had some fairways that were dead, but the management was poor. They over-scheduled the course. When we arrived at just before 2 for our tee time we found a line of 10-12 players waiting to tee off. We were a two-some and behind us in line were two other twosomes, they never thought to pair us up so we paired ourselves up. Because of the over-scheduling the pace of play was bad but wasn't nearly as bad as it was for the groups behind us by a couple holes. When we were on the 12th and looked over to the 10th tee box, there were 10 carts in line to tee off!!! It is a shame, the course is in good shape and an enjoyable layout but the greedy nature of the tee time over-scheduling means I'll probably not play there again anytime soon.
valleybrook
Course was in good condition. Not very crowded on a Tuesday so pace was great. Price felt a little high for a weekday. Would have been a better deal if lunch was included
Nice round
Went out and played a good round in 4 hours. Course was in pretty good shape.
Slow course
This was my first time playing this course this year and it is in better shape than years past. Not a long course at all. Keep the ball straight, many times without driver and you will be in good shape. Major problem is the pace of play. Almost every time I play this course, it jams up. They overbook tee times and don't have a ranger or even a starter to keep things moving. I would certainly play this course more often (especially the solid twilight rates) if they just moved people along.
