Forge Pond
Forge Pond is a very difficult short course. Some tree removal is warranted because the course is narrow and there are many natural obstructions, especially for a long ball hitter The greens are very small and undulating to the point of being annoying, to me. They are rarely rolled and it seems no two are alike. Stint meter would help. The first nine are down in the swampy low land. The back nine, on higher ground, play more pleasantly. If you fade or slice,, kiss your ball goodbye. The shrubs are thick and loaded with ticks and chiggers.. There are many amateurs (hackers) whom do not seem to know the rules of the game nor the rules of etiquette. However, overwhelming majority of golfers are friendly. All and all, it is worth the time, cost and effort. I recommend you take the FP challenges.
Nice Little Course
Short holes, but challenging enough for most players. Scenic, quiet, well maintained, we were not rushed but there is ongoing staff presence throughout the course. A nice outing.
Weaknesses
Good course to correct weaknesses that you might have. Not crowded, good pace per each nine.
Very enjoyable
I enjoyed this course immensely. Not too difficult, lovely greens. Maintained well.
Course was great
Because I got a discounted rate from Golf Now they were very strict on not letting us start until our exact tee time that we had booked, even though there were no other players there ready to play. therefor we had to wait at least 15-30 minutes to start.
Casual 9
Played a casual 9 on a weekday with my father-in-law and brother-in-law. Staff was very friendly. Course was in good contortion. We showed up 20min early and they let us right on the course. Other members played at a good pace. Little to no waiting. No cart girl or water at holes so good thing we brought water. No par 5s but there are some long par 3s. All in all very positive opinion of the course. I will be playing here again. Excellent value right off the parkway.

Played 9 holes.
Mostly par 3. Had a nice time.
Course is in excellent condition
Staff was very accommodating when I requested a change in my tee time to start earlier due to weather
Hidden Jewel
Nice course, better bring your iron play as course is narrow and well protected. Greens unjulated but fun and in great shape
Difficult Holes
Must keep ball in play, difficult to hit out of the rough. Very slow playing, waited every hole. No starter on course to tell golfer's to pick up the pace.
