The pace of play was bad, it took 4 hours to play, for such a short course that's unexceptionable. The greens were also aerated without informing or posting about it.
Nice, Convenient and a Fair Price
First time playing this Ocean County (NJ) course. If you "spray the ball" all over the place you had better bring some extra balls. Our foursome had a good time, lost two balls (to the woods) and moved on. I am not one to invite poison ivy and deer ticks to retrieve a ball! You had to concentrate to make sure you kept the ball in play. It was an nice place to practice the skills you need on more difficult courses. W had a relaxing and enjoyable round and all vowed we "will return"!
Challenging course.
Narrow fairways, really no room for error
Greens also are very challenging. Great golf course for a beginner ( lot of par 3 holes ) but also very challenging. I’m a beginner still , had a hard time teeing off dirt but hitting off a tee is something I have to work on. Wonderful time, beautiful course. I will be back soon to hopefully shoot a lower score. Lol.
Fun but not easy.
Fun course. Small sloppy greens and tightly tree lined. Conditions could use improvement.
Great executive course
I love playing here. The course is in decent condition. The County does a decent job in maintaining the facilities. You can get a nice round of good of golf without breaking the bank.
Awesome again
Came back because you can’t beat the price. It’s a pretty short course with a lot of par 3s. Wish there were a few more drivable 4s or 5s
Drizzle and light rain showers not many players on the course which made it very pleasant afternoon
Had an Awesome Time
It is a very challenging course with majority being par 3s. Had a lot of fun and very friendly and helpful staff. The fairways were a little burnt up. Other than that my group and I had a great time. Definitely coming back.
