Canceled my reservation while I was there
this had to be one of the worst experiences ever. Not only was the parking lot completely filled, tee times were backed up almost half an hour and there were no carts available. I requested a cancellation right there and then and they said to take it up with golf now. I walked off this course before even playing.
Nice but slow
What hurts this course is the pace of play, very slow. I blame this on tee time booking. In my opinion, tee times are booked way too close together. In addition, too much pairing up; creating multiple foursomes which slows the pace down even further. Course is nice but the booking times are horrible.
Great round!
Staff are doing an excellent job running the course with COVID precautions! Thanks for keeping everyone safe while allowing us to get out to play playing a great round of golf. Course is in good condition, no issues with pace of play. Recommend and will return.

Course was in good shape. Paired us up with two good guys. Had a good time and enjoyed the day
I got a hot deal.
The course was in great shape. George the starter got us off early. We had a late tee time and there was room. Unexpectedly we got in 18 holes on a hot July day. ALL personnel were very nice. Thanks!!!!!!! OCEAN COUNTY FORGE POND GOLF COURSE.
Good times on a short track
Very friendly staff ,Short executive course but still challenging. Greens were in great shape for mid july. Very reasonable priced.
Great practice round
Tight course. Narrow fairways and small greens. Very slow greens. You have to slam the ball to get to the hole on a 20 foot putt. Pace of play was slow but it was a beautiful day so the course was jam packed

Track is well maintained tough if you don’t stay inbounds
The course was in good shape. They are also working to be compliant with COVID protocols. My only recommendation is to allow more time to check-in, currently limited to 10 minutes prior to tee-time and for the starter to be more proactive with arriving players. The day I was there a young lady was on-line waiting to pay for the two-some while players with a later tee-time we allowed to pay and get ready before her. Then when they went to the tee, the starter was difficult with them. Since no walk-ons are allowed, the starter should more proactive in monitoring who has arrived and prioritizing by tee-time. A little less socializing and more proactive management. Also, 10 minutes prior to tee time is bit restrictive. Other courses are way more lenient.

Great course, legit challenge. All greens appear to be elevated, quick and possess many slopes, so keeping the ball on green requires increased control.
Par the course, staff is always quite bossy and short. Doesn’t really affect the game.

I always enjoy playing this course. It is a bit narrow. You will enjoy a day out on the course.
Terrible Starter
The starter today was terrible.
He had a bad attitude towards the four of us because we booked the hot deal.
Made us wait for two guys that showed up 5 minutes after their tee time and took another 15 minutes to get to the 1st tee.
The poor treatment by the starter really upset the 4 of us.
The rest of the staff was pleasant but they did nothing about the pace of play.
We were treated poorly simply for booking the hot deal.

Great course to improve your accuracy
This is a county course and all the staff work really hard to maintain the course. This year is no exception and the course is in great shape.
Thank you staff for all the hard work you do.
Its a challenging course with little room to miss left or right. It also had a couple of long par 3's. Great course with a great price.
