Great Day
Excellent vourse to play and in good shape. Always a fun day at Forge Pond!
Great round until rain cane
Course played well booked for 28 but rained on 9th nothing you can do oh well
Weather
I contacted golf now this morning to cancel my round which was scheduled for 12:40 pm. Severe storms were forecast so myself and my 2 playing partners decided not to risk the weather threat. My request for refund was rejected. Turned out winds at 1:00 pm were 87 mph in that town. Should be refunded , conditions would have been dangerous.
Decent challenge
Play this course for management of shots and develop a better short game.
Nice layout
Short course, good for learners and seniors. Challenging and in good condition, nice staff.

The course was in excellent condition; however, as an Ocean County taxpayer, we didn’t need to be spoken to in the harsh, aggressive tone we were spoken to by the Starter because we were paired with a twosome who were better golfers than my wife and I, who is just learning the game, so they got ahead of us and in normal golf etiquette, we allowed them to play ahead of us and we were scolded at the turn.
Worth the $$
Course is in great shape and staff incredibly friendly greens and fairways in excellent shape.
Great course
Staff are always friendly and make you feel welcome. The course is very well maintained, presents many challenges, and makes for a quick enjoyable round.
Value
Great course to practice all kinds of shots. Tight fairways, small greens, and par 3’s of a wide range of distances. Staff members are attentive, friendly, and an overall pleasure to deal with. This is a great value for the money!
