Ocean County Golf Course at Forge Pond

This place is a great golf course. For the money you can’t beat it at all. The greens are very well kept. Never a bad time playing at Forge!

Can’t beat the price and the condition of the course is very good. Great place to work on short game. Bing my Son their often as he’s a beginner so it’s perfect for that situation too. Staff is always very friendly, from cashier to starter.

I always play this course for the challenge of the tree lined setting.Never make par but it's always a good day.

Nice course and laid out very well, enjoyed it and has 6 par 4s so can crank a few!

I’m still very new to golf but from what I’ve seen, this course is great for the price. Narrow fairways make it challenging. The greens were pretty well kept. I would definitely recommend this course to beginners players or someone looking for a quick 18. I will be returning soon

Tight course. Must hit straight. Tree lined fairways are beautiful.

Nice little course, but it is in a state of disrepair. I’m sure at some point it was a much nicer. But to the courses defense it is later in the season. Pace of play was slow as we continuously had to wait on a group in front. Even after folks were nice enough to let us play through, a couple holes later backed up again. Note that there are quite a high percentage of walkers at this course then I’ve experienced at any other course.

Overall, I would give this place another try to make my final decision.

Staff were extremely friendly, which was a huge plus.

Many of the holes are short par 3s, 180yd or less. There are a few par 4s that are challenging. Narrow coarse makes you work on the short game a lot more. Over all fun coarse and the staff was amazing.
