Great beginner friendly course
I've played here a few times. I enjoy this course a lot. The staff is always so kind and welcoming. I will definitely continue to play here. And I like that they have a frequent player card. After 9 rounds you get one free!
Challenging executive course
Forge Pond is a go to course for those who want to work on their short game. The course has a full 18 holes consisting of par 3 and par 4’s. Some of the holes are very challenging and can really help improve your game! Very friendly staff, I visit frequently since moving down to the Jersey Shore and will definitely continue!
Great round
Get a great round here for the money just don’t get stuck behind the wrong group or it will turn into a 5 hour round. Tight fairways make it a difficult par 3/4. Greens are slow, course is in great condition.
Unprofessional, unfriendly and rude staff.
Would not recommend this course to others for one major reason the unprofessional staff. My girlfriend and I arrived an hour early since we wanted to practice to find out they didn’t have a driving range. So I asked if we could go out early since they had no one there. Three rude staff members explained that their policy was to not accommodate Golf Now clients. I could however pay again and go out early. As a retired county employee I recommend that the staff undergo a customer service relations training program!

nice course. only par 3 and 4 holes. it is cheap to play here. the course is in great shape for the cost.
Value always
I play here often and think it’s a great local course for the price. Layout is good, super easy to walk and quick to play usually 2.5 hrs. Par 60 so mostly par 3’s but some fun holes. They redid the clubhouse recently for the staff to sit around in...sigh... Haven’t seen even one bunker raked in the last two weeks. Greens are still in repair but fairways are decent condition, tees do need help. Theyll probably start working now that it’s warming up. REPLACE GRASS AFTER IRON SHOTS PPL
Great short course-perfect for practice

I really enjoy this little course,staff very accommodating & extremely friendly-Glenn & Tony always receptive to golfers.
Wonderful course to practice short game.Only complaint (as with many golf courses) is golf etiquette has gone the way of the Mastodon,I was a single today and a 3-some in front of me averaged 8-10 strokes per hole,I am not an expert but the walking dead are killing pace of play.
Tight but Right
Great little course for working on everything but your driver. Fairways are narrow and tight but the price is right and the course has a really good layout.

Player. The course was in great shape & our foursome played 18 in only 3hrs 10min. How much better can you spend a Sunday? The snack stand people were excellent.

Small but challenging for all skill levels!
Love this course!! Very well maintained for a county course. Staff are always pleasant. No ranger. Pace of play is always great during the week.
Great course on a hot day.
Love Forge pond. Although it is just a par 3/4 course it is very challenging due to the narrowness of the holes. Lots of trees and wildlife. That the challenge, but it keeps the course very pleasant on a hot summer day.
Course was in great shape. We are beginners, and we play relatively slowly compared to more accomplished golfers, yet we did not feel hurried during our 2:50 pm round.
