The course was pretty tight and a very nice test for the money. It was very nice for an executive course.
Course ok but staff sucks!
Every time I’ve played here I’ve had an issue with one of the staff members. Front 9 backed up and I asked starter if you care where I start. He replied with a mumble and said start front. After waiting for 10 min I asked if f I could start back 9. He said I don’t want to hear any complaints and reluctantly said go ahead. If anything I’m the one complaining, I waited for play all day front and back. I played singles and no one would’ve complained about waiting for me or complained about anything for that matter. Played here many times but I’m questioning why I’ve been loyal.
Great Condition
Course was in great condition. Short but a great value. Pace was a little slow. Many seniors out that day.

Very nice, fun round on Executive Course
Ocean County and the golf course staff take great care of this mostly par 3 course. We scored a nice Golf Now deal, hooked up with a single and played our 18 holes behind a relatively slow 2 some. Mostly narrow fairways and relatively small greens all in nice shape. If I lived closer, I would be a frequent player. Drinking Water in coolers on course but no other amenities-no problem. Very enjoyable afternoon.
Short but challenging
Always enjoy playing Forge Pond. While short in yardage, course is moderately challenging. I have had friends with a 7 handy cap play with me at this course and they have always enjoyed the challenge and agree it is not easy. Great place to play just to get out and play. Course is normally in good shape as it was for this round.
Nice executive style course, had fun, very chalenging!
Lots of par 3s, tight fairways, greens small and challenging. This course is not easy to score well for average golfer.Its tight small greens , shot placement and course Managment a must! Leave your driver at home. We had fun , our score cards reflected how much the course over matched our ability . A few more posted signs to where the next hole is could speed up play.

Narrow corse, fun and challenging
For the most part this is a pretty narrow corse compared to others around the area. In good shape except for the cart paths which need help. Greens are in good conditions and can be challenging on some holes. Well maintained even with all the rain we have been having lately
A treasure in ocean county
Love this course. It's a par 3 but has some par 4 scattered through. A lot of shade, so great in the summer.
