Green Knoll Golf Course in Bridgewater Township has a varied terrain that provides a unique character to the course. The course sprawls across gently rolling hills dappled with mature trees. Much of the course's challenges are a result of the tricky contours. Some of the elevation changes are dramatic but there are also some subtle ones, which can be just as tricky. Further accuracy is required to maneuver the tight fairways. There are definitely challenges in store throughout but overall the golf course's playability appeals to all skill levels, from novices to avid golfers. It measures a manageable 6,443 yards from the back tees. In addition to the 18-hole course, there is also a nine-hole pitch-and-putt course. Green Knoll is one of five golf courses operated by the Somerset County Park Commission.

Great course when conditions are right
I have heard from friends this course is often very wet and muddy with not the best conditions. When I played it had been hot and sunny for a few days consecutively so the course was looking beautiful and in excellent condition. I have no complaints!
Under construction
I wish we had known that two holes were under construction before we booked
The on site workers were very rude
Not good experieince
Had booked with golf cart and no golf carts were available - starter found humor in that. Borrowed one of the walking trollies and starter wanted to charge me - had to explain I paid for a cart. Very poor customer service - entire staff.
Always Reliable
Played here growing up in the 60's. It's a reliable experience & getting better annually. Fairways,greens, roughs are in excellent shape. Recently paved some cart paths & upgrades to & 8 & 9 bridges are being completed. Brings back memories from the 1960's learning to play & playing for Bridgewater West HS just across the street.
We play here a few times a year now.& enjoy the conditions
Not good
2.5 hours for nine holes. I left after that. Course under construction. Layout is awkward and not fun
Heads up would be nice
Knowing that 8/9 are under repair would have been nice before paying full price to play

2 hr 50 front nine with three holes amended due to construction….waste of money on a beautiful day
Amazing course
Course has so much character. Staff is professional and flexible. Just a MUST PLAY if you love playing new courses.
It’s ok
I got a hot deal for $24.99. It was worth it. 2 holes were closed and they knew about it. Would have been nice to know before booking. Pace of play was horrible. Started at 230 and didn’t finish 16 holes. Would have been well over a 5 hour round
Needs
Holes 8 & 9 under construction. Thats why I did not score higher for value. Staff was extremely nice and friendly.
Wet wet wet
The course should not be open when it’s this wet. Way too muddy. Very slow group in front of us got their cart stuck in mud. I helped them push it out and got sprayed with mud. That’s what I get for being nice. 17 and 18 are closed also so we only played 16 holes.
