Course is notorious for slow and was. We played the front twice First nine took 2.5 hours. Tee boxes bad shape and greens slow

Honestly, this course was a bit of a disappointment. The greens were extremely bumpy and need tending. Most of the tee boxes were overgrown.

Playing course for 22 years. Worst condition I have ever seen it. Greens very good. Staff very nice. At this time of year it should be I very good shape. Only reason ,not putting money back into it

Greens very soft and slow. Collars around greens in bad shape. Crabgrass. It it was not for the “Hotdeal” price would have been very disappointing

100$ to play this was ridiculous. Tee off at 6:40 and was being rushed to finish. Grounds crew had NO consideration for players occupying fairways, tips & greens while playing which slowed the pace.

was quite disappointed with the Avalon. Prime playing time prices are $96 which is a total rip off. Got a hot deal on golf now and that was even too much. The course is very wet, the greens are soft and fluffy. A lot of crabgrass around the greens and tee boxes have high grass. We got lucky and played in 3 hours and 40 minutes, and the staff was very nice. I wish I could give it a better rating but for the money, Cape May Nation blows it away.

Over 5 hour round on a Wednesday teeing off around 11:30. Tee times are every 8 minutes which is absurd. Course is very basic and conditions are less than pristine. Staff is very friendly however. I play many courses in Central Pa. which are half the cost and in much better shape. Knowing you are on vacation and want to get away from the beach for a day they can charge what they do. Will look for another course in the future.

I play this course at least once a year. It is a reasonably enjoyable course. Wish they could do something about the wetness on some of the holes especially the par 5's---it really slows down play to be cart path only on par 5's especially if someone makes a bad shot!!

We brought a sandwich to eat at the course the staff was very nasty about the outside food after another staff member told us we could eat there not a very good image for the course

Play this course every year and it has always been a fun time. Course is well payed out but a little short from the senior tees. Still a challenge. Will play again next year when back in the area.

First time playing Avalon with my 3 nephews and we had good time. Course conditions generally were very good with excellent greens and fairways. A negative were the extremely hard aprons on backside of some greens that would penalize you badly. Course is fairly bland layout with some risk/reward holes but mostly predictable. Pace of play was frustrating but to be honest it’s same everywhere at packed courses. We are all good players and play quickly but we always waited for tee shots or approaches. We did play in 440 which isn’t bad for holiday weekend. The pub and bar afterwards was excellent and reasonable. We had a great meal after the round.

Good condition, nice layout, fun to play. Good price also. Restaurant and bar are incredible.

Played on a busy Monday before July 4th, so pace of play was slow. Condition of fairways and tee boxes were good but greens were okay. Played from the white tees and scored pretty well since you can reach all the par 5's.
