A good time
CR is a great local course to play. A fun mix of terrain and elevation holes. Grounds are well maintained.
The most friendliest staff I’ve ever met the pro shop and start
Everyone there from the pro shop to the starter was so friendly and nice. They really made you feel like they wanted your business. The course itself is the best I have ever seen it I mean it still needs work but you can tell her put a lot of work into it to make it a great course. I recommend for all types of golfers an it is a golfer, friendly course of wide-open fairways. The greens were very good for this time of year, so yes, absolutely try it. ENJOY
Good Public Course
This is a good public course with several practice areas. The course is more challenging than it looks from a satellite view. The greens are fair in condition. They are pretty sloped and have compound angles, making them quite challenging. There are several water hazards and elevation changes. It is an interesting course layout. The bar/ restaurant was quite nice and the food was good.
Good course
Really nice course but a tornado came thru April 1 and tore up tees so they're cleaning up. Some great food at the Rooster too money well spent for a great gold day.
Greens!
Greens played nice, but they had much shading of variingd shading, they just didn’t look healthy!
Course has no yardage markers on the fairways!
Too bad the tornado ripped down a lot of trees on the course
Too much water on this course
I haven't played at Cream Ridge for a few years. My partner remembered it from when he last played it as having too many water features- and boy oh boy was there ever. WAY too may holes with water all over. We lost a ton of balls, my partner was totally annoyed. The round did not start well, as the starter immediately announced to us- and we were 15 minutes early- to put down our bags and go check in. My partner put his bag on a cart and was told, in a very nasty tone, to get his bag off the cart and go check in. This fellow was super nasty to us, acting like we were late and had to get to the tee box and be partnered with two other golfers. Very poor attitude. On the positive side, besides trees down all over the course (more lost balls), the course was in the best condition I have ever seen it in and the patio area outside for the 19th hole was very nice. I don't think I will be back any time soon, but overall a nice day
Abused
The course was in somewhat reasonable shape , fairways were ok, but the greens were slow , bumpy and uneven in spots . What made for a troubling day was a result of a recent tornado . Off almost every fairway there are battered trees . If you miss a fairway your ball is likely to be lost amidst a gnarly group of downed trees. Very unfortunate .
Cream Ridge
Course is in good shape for early April. Lost a number of pine trees in recent storms. Greens run true. Fairways are coming in. Just need to get the rough to grow in some more and add some sand to bunkers. Otherwise a very good track to play..
Hats off to Super and crew
Tornado ripped through Cream Ridge. Trees down everywhere. DID NOT affect play. greens in great shape considering. The wow effect of the trees down prob effected pace of play.
Don’t play on Friday
I quit playing nine holes because it was so slow. There’s no Rangers on the course to move things along. Very disappointed!!
