Opened in 1929, Old Orchard Country Club has a classic design with challenges that stand up to modern golf courses. Throughout the course, you'll see traces of the site's former use as a farm. Ancient apple trees from the original orchard frame many of the holes. The diverse layout will test you with a variety of different shots but the gently rolling terrain makes for an easy walk. Skill and strategy will be generously rewarded but it's not an overly punishing layout for the high handicapper. Old Orchard's greens play true and fast and they are often flanked with strategically positioned bunkers. A stream wanders through the golf course, coming into play on several holes. Golfers will face a tricky island green on the par-5 seventh hole as well as an almost-island green on the par-4 13th.

Course has a gret layout
This was the first time at this course. The signs were great to navigate the course. The tee boxes and sand traps need some work but overall it was a very good experience.

Has a lot of potential
The staff are extremely friendly, thats really the only upside. The greens are so bumpy and some of them have dead grass. The bunker have grass growing in them. The layout is great this course could be amazing if it was just cared for better. Also the cart's battery was dying. We got stuck on the 18th for about 5 mins. Had to turn the key to let the battery rest. Then we were able to coast back in. I can honestly say, I most likely will not be going back this season.

Poor shape
Play this course as a last resort. Te owners want to sell it for condos but town won't let them so they are not putting money in for up keep. Play for practice nothing else

Beautiful layout
Old Orchard is improving! The condition of the course is much better than in recent years. We enjoyed our round !

Had an 8:30 tee time booked through Golf Now. Arrived on time and the course was closed, no sign, no explanation and no indication on Golf Now.

Afternoon golf
Really do love the course. Layout is great and close to my house. Really need to improve the greens. Lot of dead patches.

1st time out this year
Been playing this course for over 30 yrs. Today played front 9. 3pm tee off. Had the course pretty much to ourselves. Sunny, windy. Course was in good shape, greens where just aerate , tees good, fairways good. As season gets going, course will get better. The help is always friendly. Will be back next week. Usually play here 3-4 times a month. Fairways & Greens.
