Friday after the storm
The course got about 3/8” of rain 6 hours earlier so it was wet. Couple of the holes had water pooled in the fairways. IDK, maybe some drainage if possible, could help. We kept our pace thru out the round. I really appreciated the aeration hole size on the greens. They were smaller than I’ve had to play on at other courses. No need to have the 2 putt rule.
We didn’t stay for any food because there was an outing happening and it was getting crowded.
Needs a ranger
he course was in decent condition. Greens were aerated. No ranger was on the course. It took 2:45 to play the front nine. Back nine played in 2:10 due to 2 groups in front of us quitting after 9 holes due to slow play and another group quitting after 12.
Opinion
Tee box, fairway & greens were good. Cart part needs to be attended to. Food cart personnel were very kind. Overall, nice course for the buck.
Not bad
Course in decent shape. Greens and tee boxes good. Fairways good, off fairways a bits barren
Course dry and hard
Great value
Very wet
Rainy night before our round. Alot of standing water on and off the fairway and surrounding areas made it difficult. Overall the grass was nice thick and green were nice as well. Cart had and empty sand/ricotta container and the club/Ballwash was bone dry on the cart. Pace of play was just right. Will come back again.
Solid course for the price
I was very happy with the course and the value for the price. It was in great shape and I enjoyed the round a lot. I wish they had a starter at the first tee to get groups moving and explain any course rules for the day.
Nice course!
Overall enjoyable experience. Slightly slow pace due to some older gentlemen in front of us BUT it wasn’t too slow & they were pretty good. Plus it was beautiful out so we didn’t mind.
Not worth $70
No fairway. Could not tell the difference between fairway and rough. Greens were painfully slow. Slow pace of play on front 9. Should never pay more than $50 for this course.
Good course for the average golfer course inok
Wide fairways for the average golfer and generous greens senior tees make the course manageable distance wise and easy to play for the older golfer you not hitting fairway woods on a lot of second shots
Monday at Centerton
Other than starting our round a little late, we had a good round. Some really wet zones from early watering got to be a little annoying. People not fixing their ball marks on the greens was another issue. Most were in good shape but a few had someone not being kind to the surface.
Being Monday, the restaurant probably wasn’t open so wanting more we went elsewhere for lunch.
Dry…no staff…nothing extra
Greens were the only thing decent about the course. They were very slow but smooth. Fairways were nonexistent. Rough was very patch and the whole course was so dried out and sandy. Bunkers were unraked and full of rocks.
Course was filled with twosomes and singles. We (a twosome) wound up asking to play with the twosome in front of us to help speed up and finish.
Today got hit about 89 degrees and ZERO water on the course, no cart girl and the restaurant had no one working in it. Only saw the 1 worker in the proshop so staff was nonexistent as well.
Overall it will be a while before I go back.
