Centerton Golf Club

I really like this course, but due to so much rain the past weekend the fairways grass was high other than that it's a good course.

It's Summer....

Fairways are dry. BUT, you get a lot of roll.

I have played this course for the last 20 years and it is in the worst shape ever.greens are not smooth and the cups overgrown and should be moved periodically.the cart broke down and it was replaced to the 5th tee box in about 10 minutes with one that was not much better but at least it moved.course was very brown and the ball rolled excessively when it hit what used to green grass.sprinklers would help if they used them .

I have been to Centerton several times and I always find it a great place to play, especially now that hole 17 no longer is covered with Canadian Geese (poop) If you haven't tried this place I highly recommend it.

Overall, the course was satisfied but one pair at front cart was too slow and we wasting time and play lazy and some of player skip holes. No ranger involved for course management.

This course is basically wide open and is an easy driving day.on this day the greens were a little slower then usual and speed was inconsistent. Never a bad day of golf here.

Like the course because it’s close to home and they iffer diacoints for mid day playing. Need a Major Spring cleaning. Turf is a ittle rough., but doable.

I like Centerton because it is very serene and away from all pollution. I like the country side settings and the Grill but the grill which is not part of the GC is closed on Sundays.

The course can be maintained little bit better by fertilizing and watering so the fairways and greens are in good shape.

Last couple of weekends, i played , the greens were sanded and leafy that the putting was tough! the greens need to be manicured better so the putting is less "bumpy!" All in all this course is on its way to a 4 rating provided the staff pay attention to the suggestions i mentioned above.

Had a great time playing here, it was my second course of the day an by far the best course I’ve played for my money! Extremely friendly staff an perfect layout! Can’t wait for my next trip to Jersey so I can play here again.

If your intent is to play cheap golf, then this is for you. If you are looking to play a good course, go elsewhere. Spotty tee boxes, fairways and greens, and no sand rakes. Greens were hard and slow, fuzzy and inconsistent, with huge pock marks (not aeration) throughout most of them. My putts bounced most of the time. I realize it is only April, but these conditions have little to do with April. Also, it was 80 degrees and no water jugs anywhere. I did not have a great round (partially because conditions would not allow it), but I would rather play worse on a better course.

Like the new management. Went out to play before my Eagles game on a nice morning and it was pretty crowded. The starter came out and took the time to speed up play so was very happy with that. Nice course and in pretty good shape for this time of the year and definitely will play again. Go Birds

I got paired with an individual who had also played this course , Nice guy...

For the most part the course is very playable. A few greens needed a little rest. Leaves were cleared from the fairways.

The course is Usually ok but now it’s absolutely pathetic a real dog-track only a little better then Wild Oaks !!! But it is cheap so you get what you get

The course haven't seen a mower in quite a bit, the tee boxes and fairways were very long !

course ok conditions,could use some maintenance around cart paths

too many people driving off paths creating pot holes in turf

I made the Golf Now reservation for a 1:38 tee time. I showed up early, (1:00) and they allowed me out as a single. I never waited on one shot until the 2nd shot on 18. I finished in 3 hours, at four PM on the dot.

The course, and the area in general was in the path of Tuesday's high wind storm. The course was damp.but playable. Their staff had made an effort clear the leaves from the course...good job by them. I was satisfied with the round.
