Work in progress
It’s March so the jury is out. I anticipate with work this course will be a great buy. The 19th has the best bbq. The drinks were expensive but good.
New Mgmt
It's early, the area apparently over winter was hit hard storms, trees down all over place, only 1 hole did a tree come into play it was blocking cart p.k ath 11th hole. Course itself needs help but playable for $20, anymore right now go elsewhere.
ABit suprising
Course is in bad shape, not wanting to put the place down, but it needs alot of work. Pro shop guy said it was just bought and new owners. Hope they get busy quick,. Wd six eat in restaurant, food was good , service and staff were great, but right now ,course is only good for some cheap practicing.
Decent Day
At $14 including "convenience fee" this was a bargain. Still early season, conditions were less than ideal; the greens in particular left much to be desired. However, under the circumstances my partner and I considered this to be a great bargain.
It is Feb.
Went to play because it was a nice day. A bit of breeze, some sun and 60 deg..And of course a "HOT DEAL" was available.
Conditions on the course were what I expected for Feb. golf.
I will go back.

Submerged
Centerton proved to be a good choice for 2 reasons, HotDeal price of $17+ and a course that couldn't be "cart path only" in that there are virtually none. As a result, at times our golf cart doubled as an amphibious vehicle as we negotiated swamp-like conditions through most every fairway. Otherwise the course offers expansive fairways, for the most part flat and lacking many bunkers. Several of the greens have interesting undulations although their condition was sketchy. Our cart gave out on the 7th tee, requiring staff to bing us a replacement, which appeared shortly after notifying the proshop. Evidently, the carts are reportedly aging, so that our experience was not uncommon. Considering that this was mild December day following several days of rain, a pair of Dry Joys together with lift-clean-and-place made it an unexpectedly enjoyable round of golf.
Value
Centerton is what is is, but a quick round and a good layout with a very good bar/restaurant !!!
Good
Great value, course was in decent shape the layout is fun and the new bar menu is awesome !!!
not what it used to be
I have played this course for over 20 years and this last time it was absolutely the worst I have ever seen the conditions. It appears that the head groundskeeper retired or quit. It was also obvious that no fertilizer or weed killer have been applied in a long time. The tee boxes and fairways were nothing but crabgrass. The greens should be called blacks because there was a black crust with patches of green weeds. The sand traps were weed traps with no rakes to be found. No wonder there was no one in front of us or behind us all day. The price was $27.00 but we should of been paid for removing crabgrass when we took a divot. Stay away from this course until money and time are invested to bring it back.
Don't waste your money
Course was in horrible shape. Greens were lousy. Grass was very high. No cups at any of the drinking stations. When I told the manager the course was in bad shape he agreed. Looks like their going out of business.
The course was in lousy shape fairways weren't cut and the greens were not cut and in bad shape I will not be back!!!
Out of the way but worth it
I really like this course, but due to so much rain the past weekend the fairways grass was high other than that it's a good course.

It's Summer....
Fairways are dry. BUT, you get a lot of roll.
This course has gone downhill
I have played this course for the last 20 years and it is in the worst shape ever.greens are not smooth and the cups overgrown and should be moved periodically.the cart broke down and it was replaced to the 5th tee box in about 10 minutes with one that was not much better but at least it moved.course was very brown and the ball rolled excessively when it hit what used to green grass.sprinklers would help if they used them .
Great course to Play
I have been to Centerton several times and I always find it a great place to play, especially now that hole 17 no longer is covered with Canadian Geese (poop) If you haven't tried this place I highly recommend it.
I've played this course many times. I keep going back........

Beter than expected
Overall, the course was satisfied but one pair at front cart was too slow and we wasting time and play lazy and some of player skip holes. No ranger involved for course management.
