Golfer Reviews
Great GolfNow hot deal
The greens were still rough after an aeration last fall. (Tough to putt on washboard greens.) The elderly gentleman behind the counter was extremely rude and not at all friendly. He didn't like the idea of us playing on a "Hot Deal."
Aerated Greens on the front nine...
The greens on the front 9 were freshly aerated and full of sand and random dirt plugs on the greens. Wasn’t much fun to put on...
Back nine was in great condition, the greens had NOT been aerated yet..
Surprise
Purchased Golf Now at a discount. This course charges$10 to park; attendant told me I would get $8 back. Either she did not know or was misleading. You get nothing back with an online discounted green fee; so my $17 turned to $22.
This is not right and needs to be addressed.
Also counter staff was impolite and impersonal.; course is not kid friendly
Great Course for HOT DEAL
Always liked this course, plays a little long to make for a challenge but very few hazards on this course.
Tee time for two
Last minute hot deal. Weather was a question until Saturday AM. Course was open and we played 3 hour 10 minutes. Food and drinks are reasonably priced.
Good condition
Course in very good condition. They had a back nine start because of a junior tournament. No problem but when we made the turn the first tee was backed up because instead of maintaining the back nine atart they allowed play off the front. Took forever to play the front. Nearly three hours. The player assistant was useless uninformed and rude. It’s a shame because the golf course especially the greens were in fantastic condition
Indian Springs, June 2018
The course was in great, the weather was in overcast and in the low 70s with a few sprinkles.
Indian Springs from the blues is a good test, the greens are treacherous, undulating and very fast with brutal pin placements this day, so a two putt is not that bad...so you must make the green in regulation to shoot par.
Great Greens, poor course management
Course in good condition. Greens are great! No starter, groups go off either side, from onesome to foresom, causing very unpredictable time you will play. 4hrs or 5hrs+.
Disappointing
I have played here before but was very disappointed this time. We never saw a starter and tee times were delayed all day. We were paired with a nice couple but had smokers in our face with groups ahead and behind us as well as loud rap music from the group ahead of us . We waited at every hole and it took 5 hours and 45 minutes to play! Very frustrating! It was also more expensive to book with golfnow then directly from the course. We won’t be rushing back any time soon
Excellant Fall Golf
It is fall in Michigan, and many courses have aerated their greens and their tees. This often makes putting a waste of time. Indian springs Metropark golf course is in excellent shape. You cannot tell that they have aerated their greens. Your ball runs through and doesn’t bounce all over the place. We play golf during the middle of the day, and were able to finish in under 3 1/2 hours. Fall is an excellent time in Michigan to play golf.
