Spring Meadow Golf Club

Good course for the money. Fairways and greens were in very good shape but my biggest complaint was the lack of signage for each hole. It’s almost 2 courses in one with seven or eight holes on the other side of the long, wooded area. There were many golf cart paths and no signage to direct you to the next hole. On top of that, it seemed like half the holes didn’t have a hole # sign at the Tee-box.

Was doubled up with another GolfNow player for a 1:30 tee time. Got off a few minutes early and finished the round in 3 hours. Fairways are in pretty good shape, greens only ok. Better weather may improve the conditions. All in all a very nice round at a friendly facility

a good course to practice your swing and work on specific shots. fairways are ok but they aren't the best. no water on the course to clean balls or clubs. one good thing is new sand in the traps.

Granted the we’re back to back nor’easters and the conditions showed it. But 99% of the tee boxes were not marked which made it tough for a first timer there. I would not go back. Thankfully I got a Hot Deal on GolfNow.

We were a 2some and completed the round in under 4 hours. It took time to find our balls under so many leaves and the cart didn’t start right away whenever you gave it gas. On the 14th hole the attendant drove his car out and gave us a stern warning to pick up our pace and asked what was taking us so long. Again, it was under 4 hours we completed the round. It was rude and totally threw us off our game as we felt rushed. Also there was no one behind us so pace concerns we only with the attendant who wanted to get out of there early.

Have played this course many times over the years, course condition has been an issue in the past. They have done a wonderful job with the condition of the course. A pleasant surprise for sure.

Over the last few years, NJ has given up management of this course and it has greatly improved. They started with some infrastructure (drainage) projects, improved the greens and now are getting to the tee boxes. The greens were a bit long and slow, but in nice shape. The rest of the course was in very good shape, too. Kudos to the superintendent and the maintainers!

Most holes in good shape. Maintenance of non-course necessities is severely lacking. For example, the safety net protecting players on an at-risk tee box is almost completely gone. Further, there is a serious lack of signage some holes have very unintuitive cart paths with multiple forks in the road and no signs at all. A $4 sign will save visitors a ton a grief. Also, there are Jurassic Park sized bee-wasp monster bugs nesting on the fairway of a few holes. Not sure if they sting, but I'm glad I didn't have to find out!

Staff is extremely friendly and accommodating.

Solid course. Playable for new golfers and skilled golfers alike.
