Spring Meadow Golf Club

The new management team and staff are doing a tremendous job getting this course in shape. Only 2 months into their contract and have made outstanding changes to the course. The greens are beautiful and the staff is working so hard getting this course back into pristine shape. The staff is extremely courteous and professional. Having played this course for many years I am so gratified to see how the new management team is so focused on improving the Spring Meadow experience. The director of golf , Sean, is so professional and conscientious and you can see how that influences the whole staff Being a previous business owner, I can attest to being blessed to have employees like this. This course is only going to get better and better as time goes on. This management team and staff are moving quickly and efficiently to make this course one of the tops in Monmouth County.

The course has changed ownership and they failed to honor a gift card I had from the prior owners. I spoke with the director of golf who is extremely obnoxious and rude when I asked him to honor the gift card. He told me to go to another course and they would honor it. I I explained to him the course he was recommending is not on the gift card. He told me if I’m not happy to not come back to his course! So I won’t go Go back! We golf there 10 to 15 times a year. They’ll lose revenue of approximately $2800 – $4200 per year. I’m sure if the owner of the golf Course was there he would’ve honored the gift card. The director is so shortsighted and arrogant that he doesn’t understand what good customer service is. I hope the new owner finds someone that has a focus of customer service and can keep up the course in much better shape than it is now. There were no rakes at the sand traps, there were rocks in the sand traps, and they were also flooded. Greens were in poor shape as well. This course is definitely not worth the $69 per round! STAY AWAY!!!

This course change hands this year and it's apparent they need time on learning how to maintain a course. A few positives would be the newer carts and driving range mats and balls, but not much more there. Hard to see a difference between rough and fairway, greens were in good shape. Will give it another shot in 2026 but money better spent elsewhere this year.

By far worst course i ever seen there is not 1 good thing about this course besides the friendly people that work there. Highly recommend a different course or stay home and count the freckles on your arms.

A storm must have came in allot of trees have been cut but not cleaned up. Sticks everywhere. I get it’s early season but it looks like no work has been done at all to get this course ready. Some of the tee boxes are in ridiculously poor shape. There are so many broken tees laying around it doesn’t look like anyone from the course has been on these tee boxes in months. Greens are pretty good. $30 with a cart afternoon on GOLFNOW it’s still a value

This course has gone down the drain. I will not be back. The conditions were deplorable. I am used to public courses and this one takes the cake in terms of a total lack of upkeep in every regard.

I usually do not disparage courses but it is so blatantly unkept I just had to give a very negative review.

Now, if they had signs saying "please pardon our appearance, under new ownership and figuring out what to tackle first", I would give a second chance.

It is difficult to see a course that was worth a premium greens fee in its day go so sadly by the wayside.

Course has potential to be super nice, but the conditions are pretty poor.. greens not blown off, 70% of the tee boxes were atrocious, dirt and tees all over them. $79 for a round of golf here is blasphemy. I hear new owner ship is in place. Hopefully they turn this place around.

The course is in horrendous shape.. each tee box beside having no grass has 1000 busted tees lying all around. The cart path is impossible to drive on it is so busted up you will need back surgery after 18 holes. The fairways are so bare it is very difficult to find a piece of grass to hit off of

The course is under new management, and they're just starting to get going. The restaurant will not be open until July. They're waiting for their liquor license. Always been one of my favorites. The course needs to grow in a little. It's early spring but hoping the course will improve with warmer weather!

They’re under new management now so hopefully they’re investing a lot to upgrade this place. $80 with a cart and majority of the tee boxes were destroyed, pot holes every where, and bunkers didn’t even have any rakes

Nice staff but course was in poor condition. Terrible tee boxes, destroyed cart paths, and signage was off for the order of holes. Should be cheaper for the low quality

Had another good time at Spring Meadow. Fall leaves made it a little difficult if you were not on the fairway, but the grounds crew was doing a good job for a windy day. Will certainly be back soon.
