Pinch Brook Golf Course in Florham Park may be a short course, but it should not be underestimated. The layout offers all the challenges of a championship course conveniently wrapped in an executive-length course. Water hazards come into play on nearly every hole, including a pond on the seventh that is shaped like the state of New Jersey. The elevated and undulating greens putt fast and true. They present a test for even the most seasoned golfers. The par-3 holes are particularly tough. Most of them feature strategically placed bunkers fiercely guarding the double-tiered greens, that or a forced carry. The golf course is great for honing your short game skills or for squeezing in a quick but challenging round. Pinch Brook G.C. is hailed by locals as the best short course in northern New Jersey.

Course is in good condition but the bunkers need a lot of sand they we’re unplayable and the greens had so many ball marks and scuff marks!
TeeOff Screws Me
Well, I was comparing tee times from different sites, and when I settled on a Pinch Brook tee time offered by TeeOff, flipped back to the window I had open and booked the round. I should have been more careful, but TeeOff had rolled back to its default date and not to the date I had originally selected, and so when I booked, I booked a round for yesterday, not today as I discovered when I got to the course. This rollback to the default current date has almost gotten me in the past. This time it did. Its an awkward quirk to TeeOff, which I think could be fixed fairly easily.
Not on time opening
Woman inside opens the door when she feels like it when there's a line of people outside and the sun is already coming up ...should open sooner then start a line to the first tee just saying

Wonderful layout. Easy to walk or carry.. Challenging greens. Staff very friendly. Play early for quicker pace of play & bring your A putting game.
Preakness Looks Good
Played East Course for second time. Still haven’t played west. Course in good shape but pace of play needs to improve.
Beautiful Day !
Very nice course. Enjoyed playing executive style layout. All around in excellent condition. Greens were very quick and well maintained. A few extra ball marks in spots ( fixed a few on every green to help out ). Staff was very friendly. Tee’s /Fairways we’re green & lush. A few nice forced carriers over water and marsh. Pace was a bit slow, Some nice short par 4’s & 5’s. A few par 3’s can be tough.With water & marshlands . Will return to this beautiful layout & natural setting.
Nice width and course provided push carts
Came here after hurricane Henri had passed through so the conditions were very wet. There was no carts today, understandably and the course provided push carts to use. All golfers were friendly and we had a good time
Course is in great shape
Several par threes and short holes but nice for seniors and to practice short game.
Great course
GreatCourse. I was really impressed by the maintenance of the fairways and greens. No crabgrass. The pace of play was fast almost no wait time at any holes. Slightly on the easier side. Only downside it was kind of expensive and they charge per person riding the cartAs opposed to charging just for the cart.
