Like many courses right now they need rain to help the grass

Play this course of a couple years ago it was ok but decided to give it a try reading some reviews on Golf Now .was extremely happy with your course was in very good shape for all the hot weather and dry spell we’ve had the last six weeks. This course can be for everybody to play make sure you pick the right tee box the staff is very friendly I recommend

1st time playing . Good experience from check in to Tee . Friendly staff and starter who got us out immediately. Condition was good considering we’re in an extreme dry spell . So yes the fairways were a bit brown. 1st cut off fairways were fine. Not to high . Greens were in good condition . Except one which had many crab grass spots. . Last hole par 5 a beast for the intermediate golfer . Need two great shots to clear the water . We liked it makes you think layup or go for it. No food or drink cart that we saw so bring your own hydration.

Aside from that a fun round

The front 9 was fine, fairways and greens in good shape.

It was a different golf course condition wise on the back.A lot of burned out patches on many fairways.

The first cut should be trimmed, if you are not in the fairway there’s little forgiveness.

Played in a 2 some. On 13 we caught 4 walkers. They explained they had to walk because they wouldn’t allow them to take a cart. The kids were 16.

Always enjoy Hanover GC. Played several times. 2 very different front and Back 9s. Front is pretty flat back and forth type of layout , back lot of elevation changes and hills to negotiate. Greens always in good shape when I’ve played there, on the fast side but not rediculous. If I had to find one negative , I would say fairways could be cut a little lower and for the love of god…. Give players a secondary fairway cut. At least 3 times this round I missed a fairway by 6” or less (fairways feel a bit on the narrow side) and found myself in 4” to 6” of rough. Just chalk it up to part of the challenge I guess but it does get a bit frustrating. All in all though people very friendly and pleasant who run the place and for the price ,you won’t get any better in the area.

In decent shape, not rushed and staff was civil. The woman’s in the clubhouse is a very nice person

My buddy and I play with friends from a different area so always looking for courses in the middle. Found this course and said let’s give it a try. Didn’t know what to expect because the price was so good for a Friday. What a surprise the course was in great shape all around tee boxes, fairways and greens. The layout is friendly a few doglegs but most of the course you can see the green. The rough is a little deep but you can hit it out. We have played this course three weeks in a row and have a fun time each week. The staff is friendly and their is a 200 yard driving range plus putting green and a separate chipping area with a sand bunker.

People who work here are not friendly and do not know how to treat paying customers.

This was a fun course to play and was mostly a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly friendly, most of the course was beautiful and the pace of play was fantastic with only minimal waiting on a few holes.

The only negatives I have for our trip would be they need to water the tee boxes more. On several holes it was almost impossible to push the tee into the ground, my group had to tee it up a little higher than normal due to the ground being so hard which wasn't a huge issue but it took some adjusting to the tee height.

The only other negative is that golf carts felt like they were going to die on us going up several of the hills. I will say, this course has a ton of peaks and valleys which is a fantastic playing experience but it must wear out the carts.

All in all, given the opportunity, I would play here again and reccomend everyone to try it out atleast once. If for anything else the scenary and layout is quite different than any other course I have played in the area and really enjoyed the mountain type feel, especially on the front 9.

Called 3x afternoon in advance to cancel due to positive Covid test. No answer 3x, and GolfNow wouldn’t allow me to cancel when I selected Covid. Why even have that option then? Was charged $118, thanks Hanover.

Hanover is a good option for public golf. The conditions were good a nocth above average. They have a old style club house eith excellent hot. Dogs and cheap beer prices. All in all an interesting layout, friendly staff and inexpensive prices.

Always a good play here! Course is in good shape! Nice layout long!! And can’t beat the price!!
