Rough and Challenging
Course needs work and carts are in bad condition. Staff is very friendly and helpful, thanks to them!
The course needs some investment, greens though are nice. And the rough is penal.
The course seems easy on the front nine, but be prepared for a dramatic change on the back nine. You’d think you’re on a different course. Leave the driver at home, this is all about keeping it in play ! Its definitely not a flat course, so if you want to walk this one, best to be in shape.
Would play here again.
Great golf course of NJ
Always great pace of play, nice staff.
Not like most NJ golf courses with Starters who think they own the place.
For example Cream Ridge
Pace
Played here a few times. The tee boxes and some spots on fairways were not as good as I remember. Also it appears they aren’t big on insisting players fix there divots and ball marks. They do however like to push the pace which I’m usually cool with. But feels like temp was 100 and they were very concerned about our groups pace. Two of which were in there 70s and one has some physical difficulties.
Pace is important for sure but so too is the condition of the course. A couple early 20 something field generals pushing pace would be a little easier to take if the course was in a little better shape. Oh,The woman that checks you in couldn’t be any nicer. I will be back just not my best experience there.
Great time
This is my first time on this course and for the money you can’t beat it. Course condition was very good. The greens were very challenging and fast. It was a great day!
Great course and staff!
The course is in great shape from tee to green. It
Golf carts are old and in need of replacing! The one I had had faulty brakes!
Shut it down and take off golf now
This course was the worst maintained course I ever played. Just crab grass and weeds. The car paths were so bad they were so destroyed. The roads in Iraq were smoother after the war. There golf carts were from different courses.
They charge us too much
We are all seniors
6players×48=$288
I paid $342
I called this morning left my phone number until now
no body call me
Decent
Fairway in good shape, greens above average except #2 (really bad), tee boxes good, 2nd cut was ok, rough was concrete. Back 9 layout is fun with a lot of elevation. I won't be back any time soon, but would play again.
Much appreciated
On the hottest day of the year it was great that water stations were provided throughout the 18.
All courses should provide water.
The course is in pretty good shape.
Greens were ok, too.
Some strategy required depending on your length as a couple of holes require hitting over large ponds. A few tee shots need to carry over junk. A big negative- the cart paths. They are horrible.
