About
The Clubview nine, which opened in 1963, is the original course at the 27-hole Farmstead Golf & Country Club, located in northwest New Jersey, approximately one hour from New York City. Offering a traditional mix of par 3s, par 4s and par 5s, accuracy is key on the Byron Phoebus-designed course. The Clubview nine closes with two very demanding holes, the long par-4 eighth, with an approach shot over water, and the par-3 ninth, which is surrounded by water.

Crowded last Friday Sep 6 2013 PM
Tournament playing in between public outings made slow playing pace. Customers should be informed before selling tee times, so we can decide.
Nice array of holes.
The course is always in good condition and is flat and easy to navigate your way around the course.
Good shape for November
Tees, fairways and greens in pretty good shape considering the time of year.
Nice course and layout
I liked the course layout, some holes more challenging than others. I will absolutely play here again.

I love this golf course. 2pm tee time. Hardly any other golfers.
We’ll maintained eve in mid November.

Farmstead Golf is a Hidden Gem
Farmstead is a well cared for course with 3 nine hole courses to play. Valeyview, Club, & Lake. All are challenging with Valleyview being surrounded with more woods requiring better accuracy. Tee boxes were in good shape and the pace of play was unrushed. There is a food stand with a variety of things to choose from. Only negative is they don't have a range to warm up prior to playing.

played sunday oct 23 2022 have played 10 times this yr. finally the greens were excellant the best i have seen in yrs!!!!good job!!!!!!!!!!!
OVERBOOKED
I play this course quite often but no more. There were so many foursomes and it appears the staff did not adhere to tee times as we teed off on the 1st hole and before we got out to our second shots there was another foursome on the first tee. My son and I left after 12 holes due to unbearable slow play. Tee time was 2:10 and when we left it was almost 6pm. Never again especially on the weekend
