Beautiful greens
Course was in great shape and the greens were in beautiful shape
Fast Smooth Greens!!
Can not believe how smooth and fast the greens were for December! Nice layout very tree lined golf course, Overall the best public course in area. I can tell it used to be private by the design and conditions. Glads its open to the public now
Great greens
Great course .Beautiful fairways, greens in good shape. T boxes need work but is end of season. Nice day all around.

excellent conditions Fast Greens!!
Excellent conditions Fast smooth greens The best greens I putted on in a long time, Better that any public golf course in the area!!
Thank you Dannnyoch for taking the time to review our course. We are thrilled that you had such a great experience! We look forward to seeing you again very soon!
Tight course.......
Most black/blue tee boxes are under repair.
Must drive straight or you will lose a lot of balls.
Plenty of sand in the bunkers and the greens ran true....not to much break. Food was very good and the service was great. Will play again.
Thank you justme4274 for taking the time to review our course. We're glad that you had a good experience, and we look forward to seeing you again!
Super greens
This course is a pleasant walk through the pine woods of New Jersey. It has some interesting holes, and except for the 11th hole, is a good design. Some of the fairways were a bit spotty, but the greens were in excellent condition. They rolled true and were speedier than most public access courses. All in all, it was an enjoyable round and a bargain at $24 to walk.
Thank you delcodynamos for your review! We're glad that you enjoyed our greens; we've worked pretty hard to get them in top shape! We look forward to seeing you again!
1st time
Greens pretty quick and true. Overall good layout. Mostly good conditions throughout
Thank you Barton1103498 for taking the time to review our course. We've worked really hard to get our greens in top shape, and are glad that you enjoyed them. We look forward to seeing you again here soon!
Tee boxes
Temporary tee boxes were in poor condition. And moved very far up. Bounced from blue to white because blue was sometimes muddy and white was moved up to red. Greens were in great condition but bunkers were inconsistent. Some were soft and others too hard.
Thank you Ads278 for your review and feedback! We hope to see you back after the grass has matured on our tee boxes; which should be soon!
Tight but fun
This was my first time playing at the Links GC. Overall my experience was very good. The staff was extremely pleasant and accommodating. The course was in very good shape. Make sure you bring your sand wedge...lol. Every hole is tree lined so make sure you can hit em straight. Definitely will play again.
good for the money
The course was in need of work due to a bad (hot and no rain) summer. The people working there were great and I paired up with some great guys. Pace was good and totally enjoyed the day.
Downward Slide...
This course is not in good condition based on years past. The tee boxes are bare and full of weeds. The fairways had large dead spots and most of bunkers did not have sand (just dirt). The only good part was that the greens were in good shape. I paid only $28 to play. It is not worth much more than that.
Need some rain
Course was in rather poor condition. I have played here several times and this is by far the worst it has ever been.
tsaldancer
Was in good shape except for the bunkers didn"t have much sand in them, but that was pretty normal.
Had a very nice day and would like to do it again any time.
SLOW PACE on an Okay Course
I’ll start by saying I scored a last minute bargain on the greens fee for this course, and if I hadn’t my review would be harsher. A rare Friday afternoon surprise. The pro in the shop was very friendly and when I told him I’d rather play as a single he obliged but warned there were two foursomes ahead. This is all fine with me because I can be a slow player. So instead of being paired up with three others – who were not yet checked-in, off I went.
At the first hole there was a very friendly deuce that played and let me hit through, then we ended up joining up at the second. This is the prelude of the entire round. They got frustrated with the pace of play at the sixth and I merged with a threesome (that were drinking and swinging wildly.) I tooled w them for a few holes until another single came up behind us around 11 or 12 while waiting for the foursome in front to get off the green. I stayed back and played along with the single. Musical golf partners…lol. He too got tired of the pace and peeled off around 14. At this point the guys in front of us were hacking shots, drinking, cursing and throwing clubs.. So I would agree fully with other reviewers about the pace of play being the biggest caution at this place. One of the funnier moments were some kids in the surrounding houses blowing an air-horn as folks were swinging at one of the longer par tees. Comic relief in this tragic time warp. My tee time was at 1:24 and I finished my round at 6:20 (without a half-way house meal break).
The course layout is okay with some interesting holes. The tees, as others have said, are in awful shape. The pro told me they just sprayed them for weevils or some other pest, so a lot of them were sparsely grassed at best, and sandy. Fairways were decent. There was a lot of major storm damage that the course was naturally still trying to repair. Cart paths and the like were torn up by the severe storm, so its spotty. What few water coolers they had were empty.
I’d say early morning/twilight or bargain basement tee time deals may be the only way check out this place. Still, better than a few of the munis i've been on, but not by much.
Just Okay
Didn't know what to expect when I got there, and not overwhelmed by any stretch. Course conditions fair, but bunkers were awful and areas around greens poorly maintained. Overall amenities fair, but clubhouse had no food to go at the turn. Seems like missed opportunity. Refreshment cart similarly had no real food, just candy bars and chips. Tees in bad shape, but greens were pretty good. Probably won't return.
Friendly Staff
This is a really nice course--plays great. Staff are very accommodating. Tee boxes are not good!!! Maybe next season I hope!
Hit straight or play pinball
I played here in the spring and the conditions were decent from what I remember. My most recent round was a different story. The tee boxes were in the worst shape of any course I've ever played. Most fairways were ok, a few were pretty bad. They don't give you sand to repair divots. Overall it's a fun course but can be frustrating as all holes are completely tree lined. Food at the club house was pretty good. I might play here again but only at bargain prices.
This course has character
Awesome course. The tee boxes could be taken care of better and people should learn how to fix their divots when they make one.
