Good for nine holes..........
Playing the same holes a second time can be boring unless you want to correct previous mistakes.
Although fairly empty of players and pace was comfortable, the ranger lurks around, especially the first couple of holes, watching you just in case.
No warning about greens being aerated
We were given no warning that the greens had been aerated. The putting was awful. Totally ruined our experience. In general when a course has been recently aerated, there is a warning before booking. In this case there was no such notification. I would never have paid so much to play on aerated greens. In the future I would hope that the course would be more honest about this before customers spend their hard earned money to play a course that you can’t putt on.
A Thinking Course
Many tee shots require less than a driver and are blind. Course management is key. The greens are true
Ranger
We were a foursome and we were not playing slow. We finished playing in 4 hrs 15 minutes. The Ranger came to us several times asking us to speed up play and watching us hit. The group in front of us was only 3 players and they were a hole in front of us. This has happened every time I’ve played this course. I find it very uncomfortable.
Old Tappan
The course is in good condition but the greens were very slow
Not for outsiders. Advanced club players only
If u r not fast enough they tell u. Made to wait 10 minutes at a hole while others went ahead even though there was no one waiting at the Tee.
Cater to members only. Was told if we didn’t hurry, we cld possibly miss a hole. Not right for the high price paid for 9 holes.

Very disappointing
Super disappointing experience. Course said it was a Par 70 and ~6,000 yards, when it’s actually a 9 hole course… that was incredibly misleading and definitely not worth the ridiculous price of $70 to ride 9 holes on a weekday afternoon. What a scam! Definitely felt taken advantage of by both Golf Now and the course itself.
That being said, there is nothing wrong with the course itself if you are indeed only looking to pay top dollar for a 9 hole course.
