This course was solid but management/organization was questionable
We had a great time but unfortunately had to wait 1 hour for our carts/tee time that we had booked ahead of time with no offer of compensation or service from the staff. Course was overall solid
Unfriendly Staff; No Accommodations
Played here in a twosome last year on a slightly rainy day and regretted it from from start to finish. We were rudely greeted by two guys in the janky PTO shop who appeared inconvenienced to help us check in because they were sitting down watching golf. We were told no carts allowed, so we walked: no big deal. Course was in rough shape and I could tell we got what we paid for (around $30) ea. Anyways, making the turn after 9, the rains disappeared and it got hot, so I swung by the pro shop to get something to drink. What a wild thought?! Soda machines And coolers outside were locked up and didn’t even look plugged in. I asked the young guy inside; he said “ sorry the manager just left and he has the key to unlock them”. Okay so I asked if they had any other drinks available or a water fountain; “no we don’t”. Zero support or advice. I ended up having to buy an overpriced, logoed Plastic squirt water bottle in the pro shop for $12, so the young bum could go back to the sink in the pro shop office and fill it with tap water. Guess what, they stopped taking cash, and could only process it by cc. Ohh, it gets better: that have a $15 cc minimum so that cheap water bottle and tap water ended up costing me like $15.81 with tax. Waste of money and time, and effort. Terrible place with unaccommodating staff.
RUDE AND DISHONEST STAFF, LOUSY COURSE, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!
I WOULD GIVE IT ZERO STARS IF I COULD! RUDE AND DISHONEST STAFF, LOUSY COURSE, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! OTHER THAN THAT, GREAT. SEE BELOW FOR DETAILS:
I MUST PREFACE THIS BY SAYING FOR A FEW YEARS I PLAYED HERE EVERY WEEK. MANAGEMENT AND STAFF WERE WONDERFUL. CHANGED MANAGEMENT, PRICES WENT UP, SERVICE WAY DOWN. BOOKED IT FOR OLD TIMES SAKE. PREPAID TEE TIME. I KNEW I WAS IN TROUBLE WHEN I WENT IN, AND SAID I HAD A TEE TIME, AND THE GUY SAID "TODAY?" WHEN I GOT THERE, THEY TRIED TO PUT ME IN A CART WITH SOMEONE I DIN'T KNOW. I REFUSED, AS PER SOCIAL DISTANCING RULES. DESPITE THE FACT THAT THE COURSE WAS EMPTY (WONDER WHY), AND THEIR WERE MANY CARTS AVAILABLE, THEY TRIED TO TACK ON EXTRA FEES FOR A SINGLE RIDER CART! DURING A PANDEMIC! WHATEVER YOU FEEL ABOUT COVID, AT THE VERY LEAST THIS WAS HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND AN ATTEMPT AT GOUGING A CUSTOMER. I WALKED OUT AND WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN.
Foreeee!!! Bring a helmet! Lol
Not a bad course but a lot of newbies and a lot of players yelling fore! Lol... people said bring a helmet and some people said it’s nickname is VietKnoll lol
Nice course
The course is a little tight, the front nine can get a little hairy because you’re hitting into greens that are surrounded by T boxes. Back nine is a little more open.
Great value and fast play
Great experience from arriving and being greeted by friendly staff. Course in good condition and fast play during a beautiful summer weekday.
For starters there was no starter, you need to wear a helmet on the course, course conditions were terrible but greens were good. No beverage cart, no bathrooms on course, I DONT RECOMMEND PLAYING THE EAST COURSE !
ONLY Play on a Weekday if you care about Pace of Play
The real issue with this course appears to be pace of play. My assumption is they need a good starter and ranger.
We played on a Wednesday mid-morning and it took 2 1/2 hours to play nine holes (compared to my experience at other courses where a weekday mid-morning nine takes me around 1 1/2 hours).
My friend (who has played there a number of times) said on the weekend an 18-hole round can easily be 5 1/2 hours.
Course conditions were fair but not great. Some holes had bunkers that were rock hard, some holes had bare spots on the greens but then other holes had really nice fairways, or the greens were nice, etc.
The course itself is nice enough but you do have to be careful about wayward shots (the holes are close together and balls were flying everywhere from guys slicing or hooking their shots). Also, the PAR 3 holes were long from the forward tee. It was fine but for pace of play, not good since short hitters probably can't reach the green in regulation.
There is no 9-hole rate which is a bit annoying but the walking weekday rate was $25 so at least that is reasonable (that is if you pay cash, apparently if you use a credit card they charge additional $3.00.) The staff was nice and told us about the cash vs credit card issue so I paid cash.
The front nine was easy to walk. The only hill to push your pull cart up was approaching the ninth hole green.
Bottom line I would play again on a weekday to give it a second try to see if pace of play and course conditions were a fluke or the norm.

It is the norm.
A sunday morning round took me and 2 friends a little over 5 hours. There was no starter, and after talking to a few other players out here, tee times aren't even a thing either.
We have enjoyed the course, the friendly staff and the hot dogs and delicious hamburger grill. The price is very reasonable.

This review is entirely accurate. I'm not that picky but If this were what golf courses were like, I wouldn't play.
