Challenging but fair
I live relatively near this course and finally played it for the first time. I was not disappointed; quite the reverse. You must hit the fairways !
What an Improvement!!!!
We stopped playing Princeton about 20 years ago because it was so bad but got a Hot Deal I couldn't pass up. VERY glad I gave it another chance. Forgot how nice the layout is and how the narrow fairways test you off the tee.
I would say that they need to cut the rough back a little. It's long and with it wet challenged us more than it should have.
I WILL BE BACK!
Nice Course, shorter but tight
Staff was very friendly. Pace was great no waiting entire round. Shorter than most but tightness and small greens make up for it, need to hit em straight. Greens bumpy and on slow side but had just been airated. Would definetly play next time Im in the area.
Pace of Play is not good
I've played this course many times before and stopped playing there last year because holes 14-17 were in such horrible condition I'm surprised the course was still open. The fairway were literally dirt. However, I thought I'd give it a try this spring hoping the conditions had improved. The course was in decent, not great condition. However, the starter had let several walking doubles in a row out, and one particularly slow three-some without pairing anyone up. As a result, there wasn't a single hole that I didn't have to wait before teeing up. Most holes I had to wait 5 to 10 minutes. The slight rain and wind didn't make the waiting any more enjoyable. By the time I got to the 13th hole there I was part of the 3rd group waiting to tee off, so I decided I had enough and went home. So I will never know if holes 14-17 have improved since I don't intend to go back.
Great course for under $60
I played this course on Easter Sunday. The pace of play was excellent. No waiting at tee boxes and no groups hitting up behind us. The course is short, but challenging around the greens. Fairways, bunkers, and greens were well maintained. A few dirt patches around the greens made short game a little difficult. I would recommend this course and play it again if in the area.
Also, I would highly recommend the food in the clubhouse. We ate breakfast and lunch. Everything was delicious and staff was extremely friendly.

Nice course, but with this time of year the leaves become a factor. Greens were extremely slow, needed to be mowed. Overall, nice course, nice day, nice place to play.
Beautiful course along the D&R canal
After seeing the reviews from September, it's hard to believe that the conditions could have improved so much in a month.I found the course to be in nice condition, with the mature hardwoods showing spectacular displays of color. Lots of leaves on the ground, helps to use optic green balls.Greens were in great shape, and the fairways were good. Beautiful vistas on many holes, especially par 3 13 over the trestle bridge and the closing 18th hole. DR canal meanders through the course. Could see that the back 9 could be soggy after rain, Great course!

Nice golf course very well maintained Pleasant staff enjoyed it very much I would recommend it to all
Poor Conditions
Played this course earlier in the year, and the condiitons we good. I was surprised the conditions we so poor considering the other county courses are kept in such good condition. Actually, I've played 12 other courses this year, and this was in the worst shape of any of them.
conditions poor
grass dry and a lot of bare spots
Thank you for your feedback, singhvi! We are currently working hard to improve our conditions and we hope you'll play us again in the near future.
Soggy
It rained heavily Monday. Our round was cart path only. The course doesn't drain well and the back in particular was too wet and soggy in too many spots
Thank you for your feedback, Bpbp! We're sorry to hear that you caught us on a soggy day. We continue to work to improve drainage and we hope you'll play us in the future.
