Great Front 9, Bad Back 9
Tale of two courses. Front 9 is in great condition, but can’t say that for the back 9 which is basically a swamp. Back 9 is filled with giant puddles and mud in the fairways and off in the rough. The pumps they have stationed might help slightly but the playing conditions are tough.
A big disappointment for $74
A big disappointment. Yes, early in the season but I don’t see any chance for this track to recover. 3 holes on the back nine were a sloppy mess, and it’s barely rained. Fairways were just okay versus other courses. The greens were surprisingly slick. Some nice holes. Good to find sand in most traps. Surprised it’s a Kemper run property. It doesn’t show well for them. I don’t think I’ll even give this track another chance and it’s only a 30 minute drive.
Very slow play in front us nobody on the green In front them terrible Iam not the best player I think I could have played better golf should take 4hrs
Dog Track!!!
Don’t waste your money!!! Course has potential if the dumped a million in it but one of the worst I’ve played in awhile. Soaking wet!!! They have a serious irrigation problem that isn’t getting fixed anytime soon. For 85 dollars out of county it was a complete rip off!!! Not worth 50 let alone 85!!!
Horrible course
This might be the worst course I have ever played. The starter was very nice! However, Bob in the pro shop was rude and disrespectful. When I booked the reservation they never disclosed that carts need to be in by 4:30 p.m. I paid for two, $120.00 for 18 holes. Around 4:00 p.m. Bob sent a young man out to tell us we needed to start bringing the carts in. We explained it’s 4:00 p.m. The young man stated Bob was threatening to turn off the electric in the carts if we didn’t return to the clubhouse before 4:30. Nobody wants to be harassed on their day off while they’re trying to enjoy around the golf. This is horrible customer service. I strongly recommend that the staff be provided with training.
In addition, the course was poorly maintained. several holes were underwater due to drainage issues. it’s impossible to find your ball because it appears leaves haven’t been done in weeks.Overall, I would rate this course 0.5 and wouldn’t recommend this course to anyone if the staff doesn’t appreciate the customer. Don't waste your time or money. I plan to share my experience with the County Freeholders.
Good pace, Holes under repair, Coolers prohibited
Excellent pace of play for a Saturday. 18 in exactly 4 hours. Three different fairways and three different greens in need of decent repair. Strict no-cooler policy which most other muni courses in NJ do not have. They have a cart girl that we saw 3x in our round. Brand new club house that is still under construction but open. Restaurant was closed in the middle of a September Saturday.
