It was a nice course to warm up for the season. A few 300+ yard holes to bust the driver out to, and not too much sand or water so you won't lose too many balls

I have always enjoyed golfing at Colonial, it's not very challenging, but it's usually not too crowded and it's easy to move through the course. The fairways and greens are in great shape, other areas not so much. All in all, a good value, nice staff, it's a good experience

Local muni 9 it’s fun. Greens are small but pretty well maintained in comparison to county courses. The greens are firm and pretty hard so it is tough to land shots that sit. This time of the year there are bees on the 6/8/9 hole which you gotta be careful of. Otherwise it’s a really nice course for 9 holes pretty well maintained a few areas of crab grass and such but for the $15 walking fee it’s pretty good deal. Much better shape than per say Spring Meadows

I use to play this course once a week when I lived in the area. It's a a nice little 9 hole course to work on your game. Perfect for those just learning the game and for seniors who still like to walk a course. You likely won't be "wowed" by the course but the township keeps it in good shape and its a bargain, especially for Ocean Twp. residents. Great staff!
