Best Course for the Older Golfer
As a long time golfer, that has lost distance with my game this course is within my ability. The layout while short is still a challlage the greens are small which makes up for its lack of distance.
Great course for those of us who can't hit long anymore.

9 hole
Courses have lower expectations imo. It’s fun, small greens tighter fairways. Tee boxes and greens way to close. 9th hole protected by bunkers was a nice finish. Starter was awesome good history about the course. Coolest thing was the class the kids were taking off to the side.
Good course for seniors and those learning the game.
I use to play this course 20 years ago, once a week with my father (80) and a buddy. It's a 9 hole course that's easy to walk.The green fees are for 9 holes only, it use to be 18 (you went around twice). The township made improvements to the course when it took it over a number of years ago.This is a good course for beginners, seniors or those just wanting to work on their game. I played for under $20. with a cart thru golfnow, so it was worth it but if you're looking to play 18 or something more challenging the are plenty of better options in Monmouth County although more $$$.
Great Practice Course & Price
Monmouth & Ocean County both have alot of good courses private and public but they are sometimes hard to get tee times on... this course is a great alternative and can be played in under 90 mins walking. Great target practice; greens are tiny and fast
Better than a driving range.
Good for.a nice walk and a chance to hit a few balls.
