About
Warrenbrook Golf Course is one of five courses operated by the Somerset County Park Commission. Although it is a seemingly mild 6,372 yards from the back tees, don't let the yardage fool you. This course is a formidable test. The layout is very tight, routed through dense stands of mature trees that loom above the fairways and frame the greens. In addition to being heavily wooded, the rolling terrain provides many tricky ups and downs ranging from subtle to dramatic. You'll be hard-pressed to find a flat lie on this golf course and you should also be prepared for a few blind shots. To top it all off, there are also a few strategically placed bunkers. Your accuracy will be put to the test at Warrenbrook Golf Course, as will your course-management skills.

Very slow
Good price with Hot Deal but 18 holes took over 5 hours. Starter was unsure about pin position, front, middle, back, based on the flag color. Ninth hole doesn’t come back to clubhouse and there is only one restroom on course. No bar or drink cart but I think that’s true of all county courses. Narrow fairways and some blind shots. Greens in good shape. I wouldn’t pay full price unless they upgrade the facilities.
Unbelievable
I have never seen this course in better shape. I will put there Greens against any one's in the state of NJ. They are absolutely PERFECT
Fun Track / Pack A Lunch
This course is nice. Pretty firm tee to green and odd roll on the greens but enjoyable nonetheless.
They don’t come in at 9 so ensure you have what you need for the whole round as there is nothing on the course. Even the vending machine on 12 wasn’t working.
Would like to see them let the rough grow a bit.
Nice course
It’s a nice course. A little on the narrow side so it is hard for beginners.
Great track
I really like this course. I've played here 2x now. The greens are pretty fast so it is good practice for private and nicer courses with faster greens. The course in general is in good shape as well. There's some minor spots that need work in the fairway and on the fringe but overall it's above average for a public course. The greens are also relatively small and there are some blind shots on the course which makes it challenging. My only real complaint is that the rough is pretty untamed. I lost a handful of balls that were in play just bc the rough was super thick. Overall strong recommend though!
Nice course
My only complaint is that we has a 3pm tee time and weren’t able to go out until almost 3:30. This was because they didn’t have enough carts for everyone. This isn’t necessarily the course’s fault as 4somes were going out with 4 separate carts (even tho the same people drove there together).. other than that, nice course - very tight tho.
Tough and easy
It is tough for first time player because the fairway is narrow, and there are several upward slopes that block your view. It’s easy because the holes are not very long and you don’t have to drive long enough to survive. The course is not very well maintained, easy to lose balls if they are in the rough, and the greens need to be taken good care of.
