About
Warrenbrook Golf Course is one of five courses operated by the Somerset County Park Commission. Although it is a seemingly mild 6,372 yards from the back tees, don't let the yardage fool you. This course is a formidable test. The layout is very tight, routed through dense stands of mature trees that loom above the fairways and frame the greens. In addition to being heavily wooded, the rolling terrain provides many tricky ups and downs ranging from subtle to dramatic. You'll be hard-pressed to find a flat lie on this golf course and you should also be prepared for a few blind shots. To top it all off, there are also a few strategically placed bunkers. Your accuracy will be put to the test at Warrenbrook Golf Course, as will your course-management skills.

Nice pace
My partner and I arrived 1 hour early and we were allowed to start early. We finished our round in exactly 3 hours. That was after picking up another player on the 10th hole. Needless to say we loved the pace of play. The greens were aerated and very bumpy. We still rate the course a b!
Save your money until next year
It’s a nice county course friendly staff if you can play it out of county on a Hot Deal $ it’s better and cheaper. They close next week they really should’ve closed 2 weeks ago with the amount of leafs on the course and not cutting the rough . The rough here is always very high but it was terribly high and with leaves impossible to find a ball even in the fairway . It’s a fun challenging course normally but understaffed and not maintained enough to stay open in the late fall season .
Excellent county course
I booked a tee time here just because it was the only place left that had a tee time available that would allow us to finish 18 (I traveled 50 min to get there). I have to say we were pleasantly surprised. The course was in great shape ( especially for a county course), it has a good layout (provided a decent challenge) and the pace of play was good (4 hours 22 mins to play). We never waited for the group ahead of us nor were we pressured by the group behind us. The staff there were very pleasant and accommodating (my partner was late and they switched things around to accommodate us). I have no complaints at all. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back again. Would play there more often if it wasn’t so far away.
