About
Warrenbrook Golf Course is one of five courses operated by the Somerset County Park Commission. Although it is a seemingly mild 6,372 yards from the back tees, don't let the yardage fool you. This course is a formidable test. The layout is very tight, routed through dense stands of mature trees that loom above the fairways and frame the greens. In addition to being heavily wooded, the rolling terrain provides many tricky ups and downs ranging from subtle to dramatic. You'll be hard-pressed to find a flat lie on this golf course and you should also be prepared for a few blind shots. To top it all off, there are also a few strategically placed bunkers. Your accuracy will be put to the test at Warrenbrook Golf Course, as will your course-management skills.

Good county course
Better than average county course with well maintained greens. Not very long, but need to mange game well, due to narrow tree lined fairways
Nice course
Too much hay on course, too hard to find shots that are even slightly off line
Fun and interesting layout
Warrenbrook is a tree lined course with an interesting layout .and a good variety of holes. Course was in very good condition.
Hot summer golf round
The playing pace is good because it is too hot (close to 100F). The course condition is good. The cart path needs some works
Stay away
Absolutely terrible experience. Was charged a cart fee even though when booking, it stated cart was included. Accepted the fee since we were there and tried to enjoy the day with some friends. It was a smooth sail until hole 14. Three groups of foursome hopped onto hole 14 because they were part of a "league". This caused a major back up and ruined the rest of the round. Absolutely unprofessional and inconsiderate. Would syay away as much as you can.
Not too bad, not too good.
The course was not bad. The pace of play was OK as we got stuck with some slow players. Fairways were open. If you get put in the rough get ready to look for your ball. I didn’t even find my ball in one situation. The price for the course is not so fair though. The pro staff said that you have to pay $45 a person and that is just for the greens fees. That does not even include the cart. For two of us the total was around $120. If you’re going to spend the money you could play here it’s up to you but I would recommend Neshanic Valley golf course. Overall the course wasn’t bad. The condition was OK but not the greatest. We had fun and a good time.
Nice course
Great course for the $ Some challenging holes where u need to be straight off the tee box. The rough and fescue are hard to hit out of. Fairways are in good shape with the greens in very good shape. Fun course to play.
Enjoyable and challenging
Good course but may prove challenging to less experienced golfers. This thing is not flat, so if you’re not used to hitting the ball below and above your feet, you could be in for a long day. The front 9 has a bunch of uphill holes but it does get easier on the back 9.
Course will challenge you.
It was first time playing course, great staa and service. Dorothy, the started was very accompanying and allowed me to start before my tee time, gave me a course layout booklet to assist me since it was my fist time playing the course.
The challenge started right after. I got to apply my golf skills. Uneven lies, uphill tee shots, , approching shot to hidden and small greens.. the course is walkable.
I will definitely go back to play. To conquer the course.
Slow pace of play
Warrenbrook’ golf course in NJ is recommendable. It was cart path only due to 3 previous days of rain. The course has a lot of elevation and drains well. The greens are in great shape and the staff is excellent! It could use a Beverage and snack cart during the week. But plenty of bathrooms and water bottles along the way. Enjoy
Short course where accuracy is at a premium
Played after a lot of rain so any course would be soft. Fairways are not in good shape. Lies are often in dirt or in chunky grass. Greens variable, particularly 17. Some holes are nice challenges.
