Warrenbrook Golf Course
About
Warrenbrook Golf Course is one of five courses operated by the Somerset County Park Commission. Although it is a seemingly mild 6,372 yards from the back tees, don't let the yardage fool you. This course is a formidable test. The layout is very tight, routed through dense stands of mature trees that loom above the fairways and frame the greens. In addition to being heavily wooded, the rolling terrain provides many tricky ups and downs ranging from subtle to dramatic. You'll be hard-pressed to find a flat lie on this golf course and you should also be prepared for a few blind shots. To top it all off, there are also a few strategically placed bunkers. Your accuracy will be put to the test at Warrenbrook Golf Course, as will your course-management skills.

Terrible staff - inside and out !
Wow. Terrible seniors with an attitude in the pro shop and at the starters. What a shame they allow these folks to interact with customers. The pro shop lady was not interested - indlt
Like I was working just to pay. She didn’t say hello, stand or ask what I needed. I basically led the transaction with awkward pauses waiting for her to … do something , say something.
I truly believe these people hate golf and golfers. They want to make it a challenge to play and find ways to not care.
The course is decent and a good value off-peak. The staff just ruins it. Go to Neshanic -great staff- or the Inspiration Range at the Lyons VA hospital.
Maybe the neshanic team can train the Warren Brook team on having some sense of urgency and being kind and polite .
Nice & Enjoyable! Recommended!!
Very nice course to play a variety of shots w slopes, blind shots. Most courses at this time of year are aerating their greens..... not here (they're in great shape).
Pace of play was slow......needed a ranger to remind everyone. If no cart person is on staff, water stations are needed as well as ball cleaners.
Very nice friendly manager & starter!!
Grateful golfer.....

Nice layout, some blind shots, change in elevation, sloping fairways. Challenging but not brutal. Only drawback is lack of food/drink.

Excellent course, scenic and moderately challenging.. Highly recommend playing this course.
$75 a pop for a beater muni at 3pm on weekday
$75 3pm round on a Friday. This is a $40 course at most. There was literally a basketball sized hole in the middle of the 9th green. The 9th hole is a short par 3. They recently started charging “close to NYC” cart fees as well (extra $20 per rider). The carts never get maintenance. Starters are either incredibly unaware of how the game works or elderly men that are clinically insane. It was tolerable for $30-$40 but $75 for a 3pm weekday round at this place is borderline criminal.
Warrenbrook
Very nice course for the value, longer course but very nice layout and a lot of fun to play, could have more challenging holes but it does incorporate most aspects of a great course.
Tough course
Very narrow fairways but green are pretty easy. Overhaul very good course
Fun Course
This a challenging yet very fun course to play on. I enjoyed the challenges it offered with hidden views and up/down slopes. Greens were also challenging to read. But overall, well-conditioned fairways, greens, and tee-boxes.
Blind Shots, Dog Legs & Bugs!
Playing any course the first time is a learning experience.....especially here. A mixture of easy & challenging holes makes for a enjoyable round of golf. With recent rain, wetness & humidity......swarms of gnats on every green.
Otherwise, course conditions (tees, greens, bunkers, fringes) are average/ok. Staff, especially starter, were very nice, friendly & helpful.
Tight and Blind
Most fairways on this quiet course were narrow and would penalize you with fairly deep rough if you didn’t stay on the short grass off the tee. Several shots were blind on approach or around a dogleg, making it more of a challenge for the first-time player. Bring your own water and snacks since they’re unavailable on the course except for a single vending machine
Psycho Golfer
There is a man who plays this course regularly who will hit into you when you’re standing in the middle of the fairway without yelling fore.
Normally, I wouldn’t hold the course responsible for this sort of behavior but when the starter was called to have a conversation, we learned he is good friends with the starter and the starter proceeded to gaslight us about what we were doing wrong.
Turns out they play golf together all the time.
For the love of your family, children, and friends, avoid a course that does not care about golfer safety and is happy to support folks on the course who literally and physically threaten physical harm.
Fathers Day Outing
Course really never disappoints. Good standard county course. Not very hard but tricky and tight in spots.
