Warrenbrook Golf Course is one of five courses operated by the Somerset County Park Commission. Although it is a seemingly mild 6,372 yards from the back tees, don't let the yardage fool you. This course is a formidable test. The layout is very tight, routed through dense stands of mature trees that loom above the fairways and frame the greens. In addition to being heavily wooded, the rolling terrain provides many tricky ups and downs ranging from subtle to dramatic. You'll be hard-pressed to find a flat lie on this golf course and you should also be prepared for a few blind shots. To top it all off, there are also a few strategically placed bunkers. Your accuracy will be put to the test at Warrenbrook Golf Course, as will your course-management skills.

Nice Course....Terrible Value
The course is decently maintained for a public - rough is a little unwieldly but it adds to the challenge of a layout that's all about control rather than distance, and rewards shotmaking.
The value has gone down considerably since I last played - there's no clubhouse, no working bathrooms, no snacks or beverages available and not even any water stations on the course. On an extremely hot day, that should have at least been communicated as it was borderline dangerous to be out there for 4 hours. Staff was extremely unfriendly when asked about it.
For a higher-priced public round, it's atrocious. Tee times are easy to get and I see why - I won't return unless in a pinch.

There is no opportunity to refill your water bottle on the course.No cart girl.
The course is in good shape,… the rough is unforgiving.Needs to be cut down. Just missing the fairway , with virtually no first cut, makes things difficult.

Lots of rough
If you're not in the fairway, you are in trouble. Narrow fairways, and fescue-like rough. Hilly, so playing on a hot, humid days is a real workout, even with a cart. You do not head back to the clubhouse until 16 green, so pack beverages. They had a fire a few months ago, hopefully the repairs won't take too long. Will play here again.
At the 9th green
This is a tough course, which makes it challenging but enjoyable. Just needs a better facility between 9th and 10th, a water fountain would be nice to refill water bottles in hot summer days.
Really solid and great for the price.
The lady checking you is super sweet but the actual starter was grumpy and honestly a complete “not nice man”. I killed him with kindness but what a miserable individual.
Course was in good shape. Layout was good and was a great time. It looks like they’re re-doing the building so hopefully they’ll have some food and drinks in the future. That and firing the starter would make this place perfect!
Manager at check in was unprofessional.
They don’t follow their own rules listed on their site. Manager was evasive in answering a general question, he was dismissive and made sarcastic racial remarks to one member in my group. Poor customer service, very disrespectful. As A paying customer he showed no regard, and basically curbed us.

Always friendly and kind workers. Easy to get tee time after 4 and rates at that time are excellent!! Enjoy going there
