Warrenbrook Golf Course
About
Warrenbrook Golf Course is one of five courses operated by the Somerset County Park Commission. Although it is a seemingly mild 6,372 yards from the back tees, don't let the yardage fool you. This course is a formidable test. The layout is very tight, routed through dense stands of mature trees that loom above the fairways and frame the greens. In addition to being heavily wooded, the rolling terrain provides many tricky ups and downs ranging from subtle to dramatic. You'll be hard-pressed to find a flat lie on this golf course and you should also be prepared for a few blind shots. To top it all off, there are also a few strategically placed bunkers. Your accuracy will be put to the test at Warrenbrook Golf Course, as will your course-management skills.

Challenging
A fun challenge, lots of narrow fairways, blind shots and greens that were not receptive and small.
Conditions were good in general, greens rolled true. Hitting the fairway is no guarantee of a shot at the green hitting the correct side to allow for camber is important.
About the rough
First time playing the course this season. The fairways and tee boxes are fine.
Greens in good shape, but, almost like in the fall many greens have wind blown foliage and leaves .
The rough is gnarly.
Even the first cut is deep. If you’re not in the fairway it’s not easy to locate the ball.
The fairway and green are in good conditions. The turf area is a little bit off.
Warrenbrook. Nice course. No down time. Nice workers.
Overall good round. Would play this course again.
Only negative comment… too many blind holes. Potentially dangerous for golfers ahead of you because you can’t see them or know when they are out of range.
nice staff and fun golf
good course layout made for a fun and interesting round. Greens were bumpy and sandy at times but that will likely be better as the weather / season changes
Tough start
First round of the year and the course was in rough shape. No marshalls to be found and a 5 hour round due to slow play ahead of us.
Kind of a Mess Right Now, but decent course.
Classic up and down course out in Somerset County. The clubhouse recently (April 23) caught fire so communications are rough.
Starter was somewhat obnoxious. My brother played in college and routinely hits 240-250 accurately and so he waited a little under 4some in front of us reached green. Starter was chirping him and shut up pretty quickly after tee shot. I get moving people along, but know when to do so and not to do so.
Overall, course is narrow but fair. Sun in afternoon coming down the closing holes makes things very hard to see, so be careful.
Good rate too.
Are there any flat fairways?
High points: green were in excellent shape, fast, and consistent. Bunkers had real sand. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Challenges: Many fairways sloped from right to left or vice versa. Too many blind shots. Leaves on the course made finding golf balls extremely challenging. I know it's the season, but please clear the fairways and greens.
