Great course...
I had never played before and was so pleased (and somewhat surprised) at how great the course looked and played. Fairways were in such good shape as were the greens.
Pace of play was excellent and the very friendly starter did an excellent job of getting people off in a timely way, as well as creating some space b/w foursomes.
Will definitely play again as - with any new course - I would play a few holes differently knowing the course a bit now.
Recommend a look at this one.

Great greens
Fun round. Friend almost had a hole in one on the last par 3. Might have dropped with the regular cup.

great day to be out
Great day, great course condition, great greens, great staff. Everyone is in a good mood now that we can play with 4s. pondless course will still take your balls if you venture into the woods. Terrain makes for a good walk and challenging play.

Great find
First time playing this course. Ventured out of my area for some adventure. Course was great. Playable, great conditions and super nice staff. Will be playing this course again in the near future.

Nothing like classic golf architecture!
Loved the original Charles Banks design. Fun greens, awesome classic layout, and challenging from the tips. The course was in very good shape and look forward to playing it again.

Another Fantastic Layout by Steam Shovel Banks
Played here every Sunday from 1984-1993 and have seen some good conditioning and some bad conditioning. By far the course this day was the best I have ever seen it. Kudos to the maintenance staff!!!
If you like some old time routing with a few twists you will not be disappointed, Actually getting use to the first hole but will always miss the easy opening par 5....now its an easy short par 4. Understand why they had to do it. Sliced my share of drives onto Pleasant Valley way back in the day.

Beautiful Course
This is one of my favorites in the area. Course was absolutely beautiful. Although you may not get as many golfers on the course now due to sending out two somes every 15 minutes i love not having to wait for a group ahead. Finished in 3 hrs 35 min.

Oiled through GolfNow. Arrived at course. It was closed due to fear of Corona virus. No notice from GolfNow. Wasted trip.

top public course in north jersey
They have done a lot of work at the course where I would rank it one of the best public courses in northern Jersey.
The 15th hole could be one on the most difficult in the state, when played from the new back tees..
The course is a challenge for all levels of players.
Accomodating
We owned the course this old rainy day. The clubhouse turn couldn't have come at a better time. Appreciated the hot coffee and hot dogs to help ua thawout. Back nine was just cold, and this was better than wet and cold. course in good condition and most all of the fairways were cleared of leaves.
