Nice course, good value
This is a nice golf course , good layout and challenging holes. The course is in well kept conditions fairways and greens. I’d recommend this course to anyone .
Thank you for the great feedback! We love hearing from you and are glad you had a good experience. We would love the opportunity to bump those 4 stars to 5. We hope you will come back soon so we can WOW you on your next visit. Until then, take care!
Not worth the money
The pace of play is so SLOW. Not worth the money. Better courses to play. Conditions are poor. Fairways and greens beat up.

a total gem!
this place is a total gem of a county muni. greens were great and its actually smart they are not set up faster. the layout is really interesting with a few historic holes. highly recmended
Very fine Banks Course
This is one of the few Macdonald/Raynor/Banks courses accessible to the public. It's been softened over the years as can be seen in some of the bunkers being grassed over. As a whole, though, a very fine course. It has a number of visible Macdonald template holes, the Road, Biarritz, Short, Bottle, Eden, and one of the few Raynor Prize Doglegs still in existence. It's not the best conditioned course, but the quality of the design more than makes up for that.
Round ruined by Staff
I've played this course probably 50 times in my life and it's just not worth the money you pay to play it. Today my buddies and I went out at 4:00 and we're told gates close at 8pm. As we approach the 18th tee (at 7:38pm) the lazy county works decide to get on their PA system an yell "Let's go it's getting dark". Absolutely pathetic. Then once we confront them in the parking lot they cowardly said they didn't think we could see out there....just more of the same at this place. Save your money and go spend it on a better course with friendlier staff somewhere else.
A hidden GEM!!
This is a beautiful hidden gem of a course. The only issue that we all had in our group was that the greens were really slow. You literary had to pound the ball to get it near the hole.
Good Spring Conditions
Recent rain got the course a little soggy but it's had a couple days to dry out and is growing in nicely. Greens in good shape. A lot of trees/brush cleared throughout, especially behind par-3 5th hole; between 14th green and 15th tee. Went out around 3pm and finished 18 by 6:20pm which was a treat.
Started as a single then guy in a cart caught up to me at No. 2. Ever play with someone who has no regard for the signs indicating where carts are supposed to leave the fairway? Him on every hole.
Can't wait to play again!
Course is in the best condition maybe ever. A Charles Banks classic. Some very long, tough holes, but very enjoyable.
