Great course
First time playing. Challenging holes. Overall time spent playing was fine but if golfers in front moved we could've been done in 3.5 hours. Hate wIting for each shot on a hole
Fun course
Mountain View was in very good condition considering the hot humid weather conditions they have had for several weeks. The greens were soft and receptive, the fairways were good and most tee boxes were in good shape

Tight fairways
Enjoyed the course. Happy to see Marshall's out there keeping the pace of play. Greens were true and fast. Will definitely come back Staff was very friendly . Would of liked to see a cart person on the course.

Groundskeeper not nice
I played Mountain View yesterday and the course is in pretty good shape but the "Boss" of the groundskeepers would not move from right in front of a green as we approached and when I said something to him about us not being able to play and his safety being in question he didn't seem to care and told me that if I complain, it just comes to him anyway so it doesn't matter. He was also condescending in his tone and demeanor.
Also they charge you a fee to make a tee time for which I don't see a justification.
I won't be back. I can play courses as good as this a lot closer to home and they don't charge me to book.

If you booked through GolfNow, there is a $2.49 convenience fee charged by GolfNow regardless of course. If you booked through our website, the amount paid upfront is a small % of your greens fee and is used as a deposit but it's not a charge above and beyond the greens fee. Course was in great shape. Greens were soft, smooth and in great shape. The rough was ruff. Keep your shots in the fairway to stay out of trouble. Course will be long for short hitters. Some of the par 3's are over 200 yds.

Average
Decent layout with a few nice holes but conditions were very inconsistent lie to lie and the greens were bumpy and hairy. Okay for a muni I guess. Great cart girl but service in the grille room was slower than molasses, almost missed my tee time because it took 30 minutes to make a chicken salad melt.

Ok course with slow, boring greens.
Some interesting and challenging holes. The course was in good shape. The greens were slow and with a few exceptions were very similar to each other - small and oval shaped with not much break. The course is ok, but nothing special.

Fun woodland course with prime greens
Fun woodland style course, with some interesting holes and great greens. First time playing here and I have nothing but praise for how well kept the greens were. I believe it takes all aspects of your game to shoot low here, totally worth the hour ride.

Pleasant Holiday Surprise
Hadn't played Mountain View in about 10 years -- great upgrades to the course and facilities. Traditional course requires all shots, but is fair and fast. Small greens, fairly tight fairways, but plenty of openings. Great value with Golf Now discount.

Slow greens but fast play
Decent shape but very slow greens. Rangers were friendly and active. Played on a Tuesday mid day in 4 hours. Clubhouse staff are grumpy though.
We're sorry to hear about our clubhouse staff. We would like you to know that this is something that we do not tolerate and we will have this issue addressed internally. We hope you come back in the future for another round.
Magnificent course
This was the first time I played this course, but definitely not the last! The course conditions was top notch, and the layout is great too! One thing that stood out was the greens, being that it is a public course I had my doubts, but I can say with certainty that those greens were amazing!! They rolled true and were consistent throuout 18! This course definitely became one of my favorites!!! Well worth the money! And the staff was great too!

Great day
I've played this course a few times before but I've never seen the course in better shape. The fairways and greens were both in perfect shape. There wasn't a soul in front of us so we played 18 in under three hours, making the experience even better. The Rangers were nice guys and kept leaving balls on the tees for us as we'd approach. We had a great time!

Not because I had three eagles here.- good layout challenging with not wide greens
Had there not been an impression of unwarranted demanding the pace of play, inquiring our starting time on the course when we were keeping our pace very well to complete the round within four hours and no other players were in sight before or after us, everything was the best and perfect, including the check in at the office!
We apologize that you felt rushed! We'll certainly look into that.
Great Staff
Staff was friendly and helpful. The weather did not cooperate but we were given a rain check toward our next visit. Which I'm sure will be soon.
Too bad about Mother Nature but we hope you'll use that rain check soon!
greens coming along nicely
very good pace of play. Greens and fairways were in good shape. Some plugs in fairways that were in the process of being swept away. Always a fine round of golf.

Great condition- wvwn in March!
First time played this course. Recommended by a local pro. Nicely kept evwn in off season. Will try to play in season next. Was a little chilly, wish they had hot coffee available throughout the day!
