Mountain View Golf Course

It is a warm December afternoon. The course was packed. The pace of play was good. The course condition is good.

Beautiful golf course with a great staff! I recommend you give it a try!

The course was in terrific condition given the amount of play it gets. All the greens were leaf free as were the approach areas. If everyone were to fix there divets and ball marks this course could be an A+. Still a favorite and always will be.

the first 3 holes are very difficult. I played them one under which is a very hard thing to do. the rest of the course has a lot of elevation changes cousins for a low handicapper to use every shot in the bag. a high handicapper will suffer on this course due to the perfectly placed bunkers and small greens. overall an awesome course.

A very nice track with quite a few challenges including opening up with back to back par 5s and a very challenging par 4 on the 3rd hole. The layout is very nice with quite few picturesque holes (especially for Fall golf). Can't wait to play this course again!

We didn't eat or drink at the facilities but the clubhouse looked very nice.

If you like mountainous golf courses with uneven lies, blind shots, tilted fairways, narrow fairways, and undulating greens than this is your cup of tea. Me I hated it only because I'm used to flat links style courses with length being the true challenge and not how your ball is lying in the fairway. To be fair the views from some of the tee boxes and greens were spectacular, almost like you weren't in Jersey anymore but somewhere in the Adirondacks Mountains.

Great conditions , friendly staff enjoyable layout, hard to lose a ball unless its sitting under a leaf. Wide open with smaller greens which keep the challenge up. The only knock is the out of county rate is way to high. I will only play if I get a deal.

Nice round. Played Friday morning 8:30. Very few on the course. Round took just over 3hrs.
Greens & fairways well kept.
The rough was a bit too high. Saw even the best players having trouble finding their balls just a few feet in.
Had trouble finding the next hole a few times. Would it hurt to put up a few directional signs?
Staff was nice.
Take snacks/drinks with you. Only water on the course and getting into the clubhouse is inconvenient, even at the turn.
People told me MV was looong, old, slow, and boring. They were wrong!
(I recommend this course to a friend. When you click yes...then try to scroll...the software changes it to no.)

Mountain View was in great condition, the greens were a little slower then normal but all an all the course was in great shape. The pace of play was fantastic, let a group of 2 go though us but never waited on a single shot. The course is easy to get to, right off 95. Also a gas station next to course BP has gas for 1.99 a gallon. The range was open, matts only. I prefer hitting off grass. My only real kina complaint.
I would definitely go back, Golf Now is the way to book tee times!

Staff could be more helpful and courteous but overall good value for the money.

Course is very nice with some gorgeous holes. Roughs were cut way to high 3.5 inches. Otherwise great shape.

Course was in great shape. Appear to have aerated a couple of weeks ago but the greens rolled pretty true, generally soft. As usual, easy to lose a ball in the rough. It may not be US Open rough but punishing none the less...

First time playing the course. The course was just airrated. That's why the average rating. It's a basic course. Up one side back down the other. Water comes into play on one hole. It was a good course I would play it again. It's a county course (Mercer County) alone with the other county courses Princeton CC, Mercer Oaks East and West. It's a little pricey. I paid $48, should cost between $35 & $40.

This course is fun to play. The condition always seems to be average, nothing to scare you away. Many of the fairways slope to the side (though you are not really in mountainous or hilly terrain.)

A few of the par 4's are longer and reasonably challenging. Though not "special", I would play it more if it were closer. some of the back (read further from the clubhouse) are pretty fun.

There is a range here.

I don't agree with the four star ratings this course gets. My experience is semi-surly staff, hard fairways, forgettable greens, and slow play. Many holes are just feature-less.

This course would be great if they just sprayed for the pesky gnats. They swarm you from tee to green. It's not just an off day. It's like that all summer long. The course itself is really good and staff is nice, just those pesky gnats make it unbearable at times.

Nice course. It's fast so it walkable. Some greens are small which add difficulty. The only problem is the course looks aerated so putts jumped in some holes. Will surely play again from the blue tees.

Last time I played this course, which was about 8 years ago,it was in poor condition. It was in better shape than before. Don't think the value of course is worth what we paid. Marshalls were available to enforce speed of play.

Fun layout requires all shots and clubs in your bag
