Mountain View Golf Course

Had an 11 am tee time on a sunday, I enjoyed the course, there was a steady pace without being held up at any hole.
the website advertises that there is no range, however there is a range behind the clubhouse.

The greens were very consistent, fairways were like carpet, the rough was thick and I lost two balls there, punishment for errant shots. I love the course layout, rewards well placed shots. I agree with 90 degree cart use, I didn't agree with carts on path only when the fairways tilt away from the path. They could have used the 90degree rule on every hole with the exception of par threes.

Course is well maintained throughout entire layout. Challenging and enjoyable.

Course was in great condition. The only problem was trouble finding balls in the rough and too many bugs. Besides that the greens were fine and quick.

Even after recent heavy rains, the course was in great shape. The elevation changes and water features provided a very entertaining layout. Nice Pro-Shop and 19th hole. Will be returning again soon.

The layout is decent but greens were slow and inconsistent.
It is on par with Mercer Oaks courses but they need to upgrade their greens. But I guess that is what you get on public county courses.

Pace was slow, but was holiday weekend with lots of hackers out there. Course was in amazin shape. Very challenging greens which were maintained very well.

I find this course very challenging with the small greens and tight fairways. Rough filling in nicely, tee boxes in great shape as well. Overall experience excellent, and can't wait to get back out there.

The course was in fine shape for my Friday afternoon round. Rough was thick and punishing, fairways were clean, and the greens ran pretty well and consistent throughout the day. There are several elevation changes throughout the course and even some reverse cambering fairways making it tough to keep a drive in the out of the thick rough. There are also a lot of small greens adding to the challenge. Very good layout without any gimmicks. The only real complaint was probably about 3 or 4 greens that were littered with leaf and pine needle debris.

Staff was very friendly the entire time. I would definitely recommend checking Mountain View out.

Great conditions tee to green. You can even find your ball in the trees.

Wide open. Very forgiving course. Still challenges you otherwise. Would recommend this course to anyone either starting out or with years of experience.

I enjoyed this course alot. As a senior, I play from the forward tees and that made the experience even more enjoyable although I must admit the senior tees at Mountainview make the course a little short. The senior tees are the same as the ladies tees. It would be nice if they were some where in between. However, the course was in great shape and we had a great time. Look forward to going back.

i was pleasently surprised, greens were punched day before i played though, without out a warning on golfnow site, the course is a very nice layout, i would play it again with a discounted golf now price, i dont think the usual full price is worth it!

Corse was in rough shape. it was aerated, i didnt care about, there were sticks everywhere, and lots of construction. But paying $10 w/ cart was worth it.

Very challenging course with great fairways and greens. A number of holes where the flag is not visible from tee box.

Much better than two years ago. See many improvement on its way. Layout is amazing. Only I would recommend is if they can move the current driving range spot so the 18th hole looks much better finishing ...my two cents.

Lots of variety on this course - uneven terrain, water, trees, sand, long and short par 3's, yet chances for birdies if you can hit the ball straight!
