Mountain View Golf Course

The greens seemed to have been forgotten about. Bumpy, dead patches. Pin placement probably hasn't been moved in a month because the cups were beat up. The maintenance guys drove right infront of me twice during shots and once right infront of the green in my backswing.... This course could be great if given a little TLC.

A little rainy out there the day we went with 90 degree rule in effect with certain holes cart path only. Pace of play was a little slow and some of the greens were a little beat up. Good value none the less for the $ and very nice club house for a 19th hole beverage.

This is one of my favorite courses. Course conditions this Spring and Summer have been very good; however, last Sunday the tee boxes and fairways were in bad shape. The greens were significantly slower than usual too. This all may be due to the excessive rain and heat lately. Hope they get it back in shape soon.

Wet conditions made it tougher to play. Very nice course with supportive staff. White tee markers although white, look faded and yellow looking like senior tees would be. Had good time.

Mercer does a great job with their courses, and Mountain View is no exception. Wide forgiving fairways and well maintained bunkers. Only two holes were under repair with some irrigation issues. Overall excellent round at a great course.

The course was in great shape. The only problem was the 95+ heat/humidity, but there were several water stations to refill a bottle.

Had an 11 am tee time on a sunday, I enjoyed the course, there was a steady pace without being held up at any hole.
the website advertises that there is no range, however there is a range behind the clubhouse.

The greens were very consistent, fairways were like carpet, the rough was thick and I lost two balls there, punishment for errant shots. I love the course layout, rewards well placed shots. I agree with 90 degree cart use, I didn't agree with carts on path only when the fairways tilt away from the path. They could have used the 90degree rule on every hole with the exception of par threes.

Course is well maintained throughout entire layout. Challenging and enjoyable.

Course was in great condition. The only problem was trouble finding balls in the rough and too many bugs. Besides that the greens were fine and quick.

Even after recent heavy rains, the course was in great shape. The elevation changes and water features provided a very entertaining layout. Nice Pro-Shop and 19th hole. Will be returning again soon.

The layout is decent but greens were slow and inconsistent.
It is on par with Mercer Oaks courses but they need to upgrade their greens. But I guess that is what you get on public county courses.

Pace was slow, but was holiday weekend with lots of hackers out there. Course was in amazin shape. Very challenging greens which were maintained very well.

I find this course very challenging with the small greens and tight fairways. Rough filling in nicely, tee boxes in great shape as well. Overall experience excellent, and can't wait to get back out there.

The course was in fine shape for my Friday afternoon round. Rough was thick and punishing, fairways were clean, and the greens ran pretty well and consistent throughout the day. There are several elevation changes throughout the course and even some reverse cambering fairways making it tough to keep a drive in the out of the thick rough. There are also a lot of small greens adding to the challenge. Very good layout without any gimmicks. The only real complaint was probably about 3 or 4 greens that were littered with leaf and pine needle debris.

Staff was very friendly the entire time. I would definitely recommend checking Mountain View out.

Great conditions tee to green. You can even find your ball in the trees.

Wide open. Very forgiving course. Still challenges you otherwise. Would recommend this course to anyone either starting out or with years of experience.

I enjoyed this course alot. As a senior, I play from the forward tees and that made the experience even more enjoyable although I must admit the senior tees at Mountainview make the course a little short. The senior tees are the same as the ladies tees. It would be nice if they were some where in between. However, the course was in great shape and we had a great time. Look forward to going back.
