Solid on weekdays, on weekends beware
This place gets over run with trash on the weekends- ran into some drunken numbskulls from Philly a couple months ago & even called the pro shop- nothing was done & the animals were left to run rampant- and the pace of play suffers severely weekends. Takes us less than 4 hours to play midweek- & takes over 5 hours on a Saturday or Sunday. When this place is in great shape like this past week since they mowed everything it’s plays very well. Great greens and fairways and very manageable ruff. It’s a difficult course and we like that. I like this course. The staff could be nicer- or actually just nice at all. And the cart girl should have cups and ice- and not make an excuse like “the cart that has ice and cups is in the shop” so all the ice and cups are in the shop too? It’s 90° out- have some ice for golfers buying drinks!!!!! Public course so I’m not surprised- but no water out on the course and keep in mind no one cares lol we saw the beverage cart twice- all day. And both times BS about not having ice or cups. Give us a break.
Hot Afternoon
Although it was hot on Sunday, there was a little breeze at times. Joined two young guys, very cool and had a great time. Course in good shape, some of the greens were beautiful and fast. Really enjoy playing the course and a lot of interesting holes. Only issue was no water coolers on the course, considering how hot it has been. Recommend playing
This is a wonderful old style course, small and well trapped greens in great condition, teeing areas could use some TLC
Enjoyed round, had cocktails at bar afterward. I great day. Staff was friendly and helpful, in pro shop, ranger, at bar. A play this course infrequently but this is a keeper. will be back!
Course in Great Shape
I played with 3 great guys and they were all good golfers. Play was satisfying no hold ups and as I said course in great shape. My only problem was there was no water at all on this course, this needs to be fixed asap.
Horrible course
Terrible, terrible experience. Would never go back. Somehow the most rude employees I’ve ever encountered on a golf course.
Terrible course- bait and switch
One of those scummy courses that doesn’t tell customers they aerated until they are in the pro shop to check in. Pro shop told us we could find somewhere else to play if we didn’t like it. On a Sunday at 9:15AM, thanks.
Couldn’t believe the attitude of those in the shop, they claimed it was an oversight, don’t trust this course. Course was in brutal shape regardless of aeration, if you miss the fairway 70/30 you’re hitting off a mud patch, tee boxes were also terrible, basically hitting of patches of grass. Much better options around
