Great lower cost course
It's one of my favorites in the price bracket, solid layout for lower skill levels like me.
MAINTENANCE TEAM QUIT
GOOD LUCK, COURSE IS IN HORRIBLE CONDITION, 3 INCH ROUGH. ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC.
THIS COURSE SUCKS YOU WILL LOSE OVER 10 BALLS
I THINK THE MAINTENANCE TEAM QUIT. EVERY GREAT SHOT WAS UNFOUNDED. COURSE IS POORLY KEPT STRAIGHT UP. DON’T FALL FOR OLD REVIEWS, THIS IS A NEGLECTED OVERPRICED COURSE. SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE

You’re Gonna lose 10+ Balls in their 3 inch rough
Not a fan of this course. Poor maintenance with 3 inch rough. If you hit in the fairway 18 out of 18 times then you might only lose 3 balls. Otherwise, you will lose your ball in the extremely high rough grass about 3 inches long good luck LOL.

Very Nice Course
Been playing Mountainview for about 50 years. Nice course. Like the elevation changes. Holes 3, 12 and 13 very challenging.
Course was in nice shape and pace of play was great. About a 3hr 40 min round.
Fun course
Easily walkable course with many hills and slanted fairways. Got stuck behind very slow players to the point there were three holes open in front of them. The ranger was friends with the group and did not encourage them to pick up the pace of play. Course was in very good condition.
Great come back.
Hopewell used to be a private course. It was closed for several years. The county bought it and has brought it back almost to what it was in it’s hay day. It improves every time I play there.
Starter or ranger…
The woman who is presumably a Ranger or Starter has no clue what she is doing. Over several weeks playing here she drives right in front of the tee boxes as you are teeing off. Very unsafe. She was then driving around unnecessarily as well cutting through fairways etc. She needs to learn course management.

Had to pause for about a half hour after 9 .
The rain let up, the course handled the moisture well.
Had 2 rain delays on the back, sitting it out in the cart.
Will be back for sure, course is in good shape.
Very enjoyable golf course
Always enjoy playing this course. It was a bit wet after rain, but dried up nicely. Good mix of challenging and straightforward holes.
