Always the same
It’s just an average course and not worth the money
Westwood
Love playing this course as the greens are some of the toughest in south Jersey. Unfortunately, the tee boxes, fairways and the roughs were not in good condition. Lots of crab grass in the fairways and tee boxes and the roughs weren’t cut down. Maybe because of the rains the past week. The staff there are great people.

The course was in good condition and was not overly crowded so the pace of play was very good better than some previous times I have played there
Honest review
This course is always a joy to play, it’s open but the fairways are tight and greens are always in good shape. However, some fairways were burnt up and the tee boxes were dirt. On course staff were friendly as usual and the amenities are always great. My two gripes. 1. There are 2 putting greens. Hoping one can be made into a chipping green. Or make good usage of the area to the left of the fairway on 10. 2. I know the economy has affected everything. But $89 for this course is too much.
Unacceptable pace of play
$90 to play a 5 hour round at a 6,000 yard course. Some tee boxes have seen better days but course in fine shape otherwise. There are better options for the price in the are
Back Nine challenge for first time player to the course
We only played nine in the evening, they sent us off the back starting on hole 10. There were blind shots everywhere, many times you could be 150 yards from the green, and you could barely see the top of the flag, and had no sight of the green. A few holes were set back between trees making it look like you were hitting off throug a shute. Driver was essentially unnecessary since most holes required a precision tee shot often in the 170 range to then give you a shot at the green off a significant dog leg left or right
Once you got to the greens, whcih rolled true, it didnt get any easier, every green was significanly sloped, and I think it was the 16th hole, there was a swale in the middle of the green that looked like a small wave
Altough the course was well marked distance wise, the carts did not have the GPS system or anything to guide your view of each hole, nor was there even any slight hints on the scorecard.
Your first time playing will be a challenge.
Free cold water
In a hot day playing golf was very humid It was a hot day. The service of providing cold water to the guests was very impressive.
Westwood Review
The course was in very good shape. The pace of play was slow due to the course booking policy. Tee times should be spaced 15 minutes apart since amateurs are playing and do not play as fast as more gifted players
Great course and awesome staff
The course is in good condition and the staff is always great. This course has some of the hardest greens to putt. Not easy. Love this course
Great great Staff
Played today in 90+ heat and the whole staff couldn’t have been better. Had free cold water bottles at the start and the turn and they were driving around handing them out on the course.
Course itself is in good shape and just a really nice course for the average player.
