Improving. Will be a four star in a year
I went to the course despite the few stars the course gets. The big issue at the moment is that the fairways are too high.
I had a long chat with the wonderful prorietor, Steve, and the owner, Francis. Both terrific guys. I learned that Francis bought the course two years ago. He is making steady improvements and working diligently to weed out the crab grass and make the fairways better than ever. I think in a year this course will become a 4 star course and eventually 5 star.
Tuesdays and Fridays they serve a very inexpensive buffet styled meal. I had a fanatstic eggplant parmigian with pesto penne and salad. Incredibly welcoming place and has its loyal local regular players.

Course gone downhill. Conditions are horrible. Staff is not good. New owners ruined this place.

When we bought the course in 2021, the turf was in terrible health, severly compacted and eroded beyond recognition, and not a single piece of equipment functioned (which is one of the most critical aspects of running a course). Without massive capital, a mom and pop operation needs time to turn around.
